The Cheat: Cold or Warm Blooded?

Post subject:  The Cheat: Cold or Warm Blooded?
After recently pondering, I have decided to show my finds of said Cheat. I will show you why I think this is in this wall of text.

Reasons that he's Warm Blooded:
Fur
Has Fleas
Strong Bad calls him a "Stripéd Green Rabbit"
Has Teeth

Reasons that he's Cold Blooded:
Came from an egg*
Once called a duck

*This is according to Strong Bad. From past experiences, this could be made up or true.

Note: He might also be a monotreme, an egg laying mammal like the platypus. This only has recently dawned on me so I am going into this theory.

So, What do you think The Cheat is at heart: Manly Mammal, or Cold Blooded Killer?

ALSO: Please do not say "Oh, he's a cartoon character..." I mean if he WAS real.

He should be a monotreme, because monotremes are awesome and endangered. But birds are actually warm blooded, like mammals. So even if The Cheat was a bird, which I doubt because he doesn't have a beak or feathers, he wouldn't be cold blooded.

Beats me. I guess he's cold-blooded because he came from an egg unless he's something like a platypus. I think The Cheat's just... The Cheat. Yeah...his species is cartoonus characterus. :cheatgrin:

Looking at the cheat *shudders* I would say he is warm blooded. Main reason for this, he has fur! I can't think of a cold-blooded animal with fur, can you?

Very obviously a monotreme. Then again, who's to say that Strong Bad didn't just make up "flashback".

Well, first of all, the cheat has no scales, so that basically rules out the possibility of him being a reptile or fish. And he has fur which rules out amphibian. His fur could be more like those fluffy feathers that don't really seem like feathers, like penguins and so forth, but most likely he is a mammal. Unless he is of another (phylum? genus? family? I suck at biology) within vertebrates. Some sort of creature that evolved since the extinction of the dinosaurs that doesn't count as any other type of creature. I mean, what sort of egg has fishsticks to nourish the embryo instead of yolk?
