Frankly, I think Bubs sounds more like Rochester of Jack Benny fame.

I think Matt said in an interview that he originally based Bubs's voice on Redd Fox. (or is it Foxx?)

In any case, yeah, now that you mention it I can sorta see it, though I'd never ever thought of it before even remotely.

What's with all this habba-jabba!? :bubs:

I don't know... He has his own way of wording things, but I'm not sure if it's that similar to Bill Cosby's rambling.
I can't imagine Bubs doing Bill Cosby's famous "Pokey-man"... thing... that he does.

Bill Cosby is more laid-back. Bub's lines are all shouted (well, not exactly shouted, but Matt Chapman has to belt out the lines to get the voice right). But the way he says things is sometimes reminiscent of Cosby, I'll agree.
