I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but does Homestar wear pants or doesn't he? I think he does; they're just invisible, like his arms.

He wears ALL kinds of long pants. All the time.

He doesn't wear pants, his shirt is a kilt.

In the Free country world people don't care if you wear pants or not.

What I mean is, we don't live in the Free Country world, so we can care about this, can't we?

Well. I don't know about you, but I clearly lived in denial that Strong Badia was just a hop, skip 'n a jump away at all times. :-(

*sigh, tugs pants back on*

Homestar obviously cares.

He doesn't wear pants. I guess they could be invisible, but I think that would defeat the purpose of having pants.

As said by Strong Bad in Long Pants: "Uh, no. You wear no pants and have blue soles guled to the bottoms of your feet!"

Homestar is clearly under the delusion that he is wearing pants. If he was wearing pants, then why would it get the blurred box when he doesn't have a shirt on? Other guys don't get the
blurry box when they take off their shirts!

Maybe something incredibly damaging happened to Homestar when he was a child (like getting blue soles glued to the bottoms of your feet) that causes him to block the memory of it by acting under the delusion that he has pants on so he doesn't have to deal with some past abuse. This can be supported since we already know that Homestar is oblivious to insults and physical attacks from Strong Bad. He clearly felt incredibly threatened when Strong Bad accused him of having no pants which could've triggered the mental meltdown that we see in Long Pants.

I think I'm right.

Uh, maybe you better re-watch that one again. He says, "Uh, no. From what I can tell, you wear no pants and have blue soles glued to the bottoms of your feet!"

He said, "From what I can tell," meaning, "I think."

He's a long pants man! Long pants, long pants!

That said, I voted "no." Let's just hope he stays that way. Those daisy-dukes were creepy!

Lol. Sorry for the incredibly serious post. I let my imagination and extreme logical-ness get the better of me...

Well, Homestar may not have REAL pants (I don't think the long pants were real) and I think he goes around with a long shirt and underwear.

Speaking of underwear, I still want to know what color Homestar's underwear is.

I don't think he does. He has nothing under that shirt. He never feels more at nature than when he's running on a hot spring day, and feels the wonderful low breeze sweep down there. Aren't we all like that deep inside?

Maybe he's wearing a jumpsuit that covers his whole body, head and all.

He doesn't need pants. It adds to his ignorant charm.

No pants. But if he did wear them, the certain scene from Jumping Jack Contest would have been even more disturbing. I couldn't help but think about it when I watched it. ;)

How would pants be disturbing in JJC?

Well, if he doesn't have any, all the Poopsmith would have to do was hold the glass under it. But if he HAD pants... oh please, don't make me write it out!

Oh, I get the idea. Actually, I already had the idea, but I just needed clarification.

Long pants, people! The longest pants! Everybody everybody longest pants! Long long long long long long pants!

Hallucigenic rant aside, I now take this moment to bring up Squidward from SpongeBob SquarePants. He looks like he doesn't wear pants either, just a shirt. But I have long since theorized that his pants look exactly like the lower portion of his body, and he wear thems to prevent public nudity charges.
Homestar = same theory? Hard to say.

Yes. Homestar DOES wear pants. He says so himself, so he must be the one putting them on/put them on years ago. And need I remind ye of this?
Image
He's "naked as a jaybird".
Let that soak in.

Post subject:  Re: Homestar's Pants?

I do recall that sbemail and that part was fanfic for a reason. As to Homestar: I woulndn't rely on what he says. It has been hinted both that he wears pants and that he doesn't. As far as we know, it might be a fair possibility that TBC haven't decided that matter themselves yet. Also, when Strong Bad made everybody's pants vanish in Senior Prom, Homestar looked the same afterwards as before. ;)

Post subject:  Re: Homestar's Pants?

Yeah, but that part was fanfiction, and his star is showing. When he loses his shirt and it blurrs him, you don't see the star, so it definitely isn't perfect. And he wears long pants, he's a long pants man! Okay really, I don't think he wears pants.

Post subject:  Re: Homestar's Pants?

A little late, but I'd have to vote no pants, seeing as his body is blurred everytime he loses his shirt. Why ELSE would that happen? xD
