Jar Jar is amazing, he's one of my favorite star wars characters, and i dont think him not being able to talk wouldn't make him any funnier. It would actually probably make him less funny. But anywho, back on topic I think if the cheat could talk in a language we could all understand, i would be very dissapointed. His voice would end up being something totally unexpected, like when the poopsmith started singing in E-mail Thunder. |

I know my opinion doesn't really matter, least of all on the Internet, but I believe that The Cheat 'works' because we can't understand him. Also, it may be considered jumping the shark (or bear holding a shark) if he could. Also also, he's perfect the way he is. And finally, how would you explain him suddenly talking after howe'er many years he's been alive? |

I guess if he could talk, he might sound scandinavian, just for identity reasons as "Ilko Skevueld" the scandinavian miner. Prepare to have that ruined. |

In the Georgia Tech interview, Matt as Strong Bad (semi-jokingly?) suggests that The Cheat has two throats, one is not able to say human words, but he doesn't know what happens when The Cheat locks himself in a room to do the voices. I think the question is mainly directed to if he had a voice all the time. Also, maybe he has computer software to convert The Cheat's language into English? Just a thought. Bye! |
