:homsar: - He's higher than a jockstrap!
:sm: - lovable oaf
:kot: - humiliatingly funny
:hr: - Naturally stupid?
:coachz: - he's just crazy
:senor: - he's hilariously weird
:bubs: - the local wiseguy
:sad: - boring
:cheat: - useless
:sb:- lame
:poop:- background character
:pom: - lame
:marzi:- stupid

I was gonna make one of these. The 12 main characters:

1.) Coach Z. I don't know why I like him, though. He has the potential to be my least favorite character.
2.) Strong Sad. He's smartest. He also has a good imagination and a developed character.
3.) Bubs. He is just so quotable and funny.
4.) Homestar. Well, he's the main, main character. He just deserves to have a high spot in my mind.
5.)Strong Bad. He's over-used because he's funny.
6.) Pom Pom. You can tell that he's the coolest one, but you don't see him enough to make a good judgement.
7.) The Cheat. Meh.
8.) Homsar. I don't know why people think he is so great. What he says is funny, but nearly everyone in the cartoon says funny things. I don't see the appeal.
9.)Marzipan. I have to say she does a good job as the token girl, though.
10.)Strong Mad.
11.) The King of Town.
12.) the Poopsmith. He's just a name.

Note that all main characters have been funny, so if I say they're funny, they're rrrly funny.

Hmm... My favorite three are :hr:, :homsar:, and :senor:. They're tied for first. I guess everyone else falls into second place, because they're all a cool bunch.

Top Tier:
:hr: Because he's just so much funnier than everyone else.
:cheat: Because he's The Friggin' Cheat
:sm: Mostly because of these two lines: "SOMEBODY HELP!!!" and "HORSES!!!"

High Tier:
:coachz: Because pathetitcness is funny.
:bubs: Because he's a self-made man, he is, he is.
:kot: Because patheticness is still funny.

Mid Tier:
:sad: Because he was the one who said "How do you know that?" and "I don't like food anymore!"
:sb: He's been getting better lately.
:pom: Because he kicked Strong Bad's boat take.
:poop: Because he's just cool that way.

Low Tier:
:marzi: Because she's not very funny, but she's good at what she does. She plays a good straight man.

Bottom Tier:
:homsar: Because the cup of coffee line really isn't as funny as most of you think it is. The only times I laugh when he's on-screen is when people are reacting to him.

EDIT: Changed Strong Bad's position because they been letting the other characters shine lately.

:hr: 10/10. he's great, the way he lisps random stuff makes up like half the jokes on this site... plus hes in the name, but that dosent make him any better.

:sb: 10/10. he gets the most screen time do to the sbemails so he says/dose alot of funny stuff. also the fact that he tries so hard to be cool always makes me laugh.

:sm: 3/10, he dosent talk much... generaly speaking charicters who dont talk much arent as funny, but hes had his moments.

:sad: 5/10, generally depressing he has done a few pretty funny thinges here and there.

:cheat: 7/10, the funnyest of the no talkers, he makes up for his lack of speach by dooing funny stuff unlike the others.

:bubs: 8/10, good ol' bubs. though hes seems to be more random as of late, this swindler has a place in my hart as FCUSA only buisness man.

:coachz: 8/10, his crazy accent and depressing demenor make for some good laughs.

:marzi: 2/10, shes kinda the stright man (woman) of the HSR universe, jokes are made beacuse of her but not by her.

:pom: 0/10, ok i know alota ya dont agree with me on this but pom pom just isint funny, hes a no talker and he dosent do anything, i can ony remember 1 time he made me laugh (beating the crap outta strong bad).

:kot: 5/10, dispite the show saying hes the least popular, his gross eating habits have made me laugh more that some others.

:poop: 1/10, alot like pom pom in the not saying or doing somthing part. gave him a 1 cause hes had a few more bits than pom pom.

:homsar: 9/10, pure random, witch if your a fan of this site you should probably like. it makes up alot of the jokes they do. everything he says is gold. notta 10 cause hes not used as much as others.

I'm not quite sure, but I think this is as close as it can get:
Strong Bad
Homestar
(although this varys from time to time.)
The Cheat (definitely!)
(space space space)
Strong Sad
(even bigger space)
Coach Z, I guess... but from here, it goes waaay down.
So, um... Homsar...
and maybe Pom Pom? I don't know, I don't really like Pom Pom. He's too known-to-be-cool and too much liked by the other characters. His colors look nice, but his character is... lacking... no. It's no good. All the characters below Coach Z are so unappealing to me that I can't even prefer one over another. I mean, don't get me wrong, they add to the series and all, but I just don't like them individually. I wouldn't hang out with people like that in real life. Obviously I like to hang out with losers or jerks. lol ;)

1. :senor: Highly funny, not yet overused. All round hilarity.
2. :hr: Can't be anyone else. Wonderful character, stupid yet somehow always coming out on top.
3. :sm: Graw mad's had a poor rap, but I like him. Almost each of the few lines he's had has made me laugh each time.
3.5. :homsar: Quite funny in his easter eggs, but not as funny as everyone seems to think.
4. :coachz: Creepy and confusing. (In a good way...?) 'Nuff said.
4.5. :sad: Nerdy and making references to obscure or highbrow things, so kinda funny.
5. :cheatgrin: Not bad, but nothing special as characters go. Doesn't do much, but is occasionally funny.
5.5. :bubs: Not a bad character. He seems a bit less funny that he used to be, so not as good as he could be.
6. :sb: I get why some peoples don't like SB, but he does most of the talking, and thus says a lot of funny ones.
7. :kot: The KoT is rarely funny, because he rarely has the oppertunity. Ok character, but not at full potential.
8. :poop: Pity about the poopsmith, really. His only real form of humour is not speaking, visual gags and crap.
9. :pom: Though he's cool, he is a bit of an arrogant (expletive deleted) from time to time.
10. :marzi: Not funny. Her answering machine is funny, but never her.
11. :trogdor: Why is anyone obsessed with him? He's a minor concept from a sbemail who never did anythig funny, appeared in a game or two and is basically unnecessary. (I haven't played SBCG4AP, so I don't know about him in that.)

:sad: Strong Sad suprises me in the funniest ways, especially DNA evidence 

:hr: He's so funny and extreamly random, he deserves to be the main character 

:kot: I love him, and like Pom Pom, i wish he was in more toons  X-(

:sb: He has a lot of funny stuff, mainly cuz he's in everything

:sm: He is so funny, and again, need to be in more toons! Play date was his shining moment 

:bubs: He has his moments 

:marzi: She can be extreamly funny at times  

:cheat: He's funny when paired with others, but alone he is powerless 

:poop: He aint ment to be funny, he's just there to fill in space. He sould get his own toon or somethin, i feel bad for the guy  :-(

but yeah, i love em all and it hurts to do this

:hr: : People complain about how Homestar isn't the star, but I think that's good; he isn't overused that way.
:sad: : Simply because I'm almost as much a nerd as him.
:sb: : Has the emails, of course, and is hilarious at some times, lame at others.
:bubs: : Well... just hilarious somhow.
:marzi: : Suprised why most people don't like her, I've seen people like that, so I find it hilarious.
:pom: : Usually very funny, but he doesn't appear enough.
:coachz: : Funny, but in a disturbing way, but I like the accent.
:sm: : The jokes involving him are annoyingly limited, like his intelligence.
:homsar: : I don't see how people like him that much... He's overrated...

:sb: The biggest draw, the most depth as a character

:sad: We all know someone like him

:hr: Wonderfully absurd, but dumb jokes can only do so much

:coachz: Liked him better as the original Rapper from Racine, not the weirdo he's become

:cheat: High cuteness factor and effective as foil

:pom: Funny, but underutilized

:bubs: One dimensional, occasionally funny

:marzi: I'd like to smack her with a broom

:poop: Not a fan of toilet humor, his best part was in sbemail 200

Well, I like pretty much all of the characters. Strong Bad is my all-time favorite. The rest are really funny, too. Who do I not like? Well, um...Mr. Bland, anybody?the least funniest characters are, let's see, The Poopsmith (no fault of his, he just has a crappy job), Marzipan (funny when Strong Bad interacts with her), and, yeah, that's it, really.

:hr: -Pretty much everything he says is comedy gold. Also, his cluelessness is always worth a laugh or two.
:coachz: -He's so pathetic it's funny. "No, I'm not alone. Yes, this phone is plugged in." (power goes out) "Aw, drat. I forgot to pay the electricity bill again"
:homsar: -Once you actually understand what he's saying, Homsar becomes pretty funny.
:bubs: -Because he's one of the most quotable character ever.
:cheat: -His insecure persnoality, and the fact that he cheats.
:senor: -I love the fact that Strong Bad idolizes him, yet Senor Cardgage treats him like crap. Also, he's pretty hilarious sometimes.
:poop: -He's the friggin' Poopsmith! what's not to love about this guy?
:sm: -Because of the lines: "I THOUGHT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT MOTORCYLES!!", and: "THIS ONES NOT MY FAULT!!!"
:sb: -He's funny, but I hate the fact that he's severeley overused.
:sad: -Sometimes he's hilarious, but sometimes he's not.
:kot: -In my opinion, the overweight jokes are getting a little stale. I like him because of the Municipality, though.
