Has Strong Sad Gone Happy?

I think Strong Sad is becoming a happy character now. He smiled in independent and was really happy when he was singing in compy catalog. I think he's gone happy. Do you?

Well, sorta. He seems less depressed, but in Compy Catalog, after Strong Bad interrupted him, he got pretty sad. Maybe he stays happy now unless someone does or says something that upsets him.

He may be less depressed than when HR first started. I wouldn't call him happy though.

I think his whole character is changing at least a little bit. Like in Folky Tale, he stood up against Coach Z interupting his story, and does overall witty/clever stuff, instead of being passive, pathetic, and sad.

Not quite yet. More outgoing, maybe, but I wouldn't go so far as to say happy.

I wouldn't say he's gone happy, but he has made some changes. I would say he's not so much of a depressiac these days as he is an intellectual, introspective nerdy type: the sort who wants to engrave Paradise Lost onto grains of rice and the like.

He is happy, He's happier then the beginning. It's just his brothers that get him down. Like, he has fun with Marzipan. Because in Marzipan's answering machine, he talks really happy about a prank her and Strong sad Pulled off/are about to pull off. He's more like an unknown character as to his personality just like :senor:

Well, it's a bit of yes and no. Analyzing his personality in the earlier toons he was always down. Nowadays he's usually happy but when his brothers are around tormenting him he turns sad again. When his brothers aren't around he usually acts like a know-it-all, I think it's just his character developing and getting more complex, that's all it is.

This brings up a strange point, perhaps now he's expressing himself a tad more, and so because he's letting it out he's a tad less depressed. :idea:

I think he's gotten more expressive for sure...
But Strong Bad always finds a way to get him to go back to his sad self at some point or another...
But I agree, Strong Sad is smiling more often and getting along a little better with people. :cheatgrin:

He's not the boring, slow talking guy he used to be that no one ever noticed. He isn't so sad anymore as much as he is just mellow. Strong Bad doesn't seem to utterly hate him like he used to, but just seems to annoy the crap outta him. Yet, they still get along sometimes, like in "Concert"
