They abandoned the King of Town as Marzipan's dad thing awhile(sp?) ago.I think

Um...no. The info for that was out of date. I think TBC changed it but I'm not sure why.

Homestar and Maripan with kids? As biological parents, no. Maybe for babysiting (and then the characters could become Minor Characters)

I wouldn't object to them officially introducing Preshy and Rafferdy.

If TBC do decide to bring in a child character, I'm sure they'll do it with style and humor.

To everyone saying "Homestar would be king because Marzipan is KOTs daughter" thats not true. The statement made in the old charecters page was a realition TBC abandoned.

I don't think they should have kids. That would change the whole show and would be to big of a plot twist for what is meant to be a simple web cartoon series.

If they have kids it could open up for some interesting toons. Strong Bad having to babysit them and they end up getting lost and stuff.

It could be a good joke. There could be a toon where Marzipan thinks shes having a baby, then there could be a follow-up where the whole thing turned out to be a joke.

Jumping the shark is not a good thing. It means that the creators or whoever did something to gain more viewers. Like the Brady Bunch added cousin Oliver in order to raise the 'cuteness' factor on the show. They try to do something to gain more viewers, and thus begins they're downfall.

Yeah, that's what this thread reminded me of. I fear the day. Although the Chaps are like the epitome of anti-sellouts. I mean, I don't think some people realize that we could easily get a H*R theater movie, or even TV series on the television.

...Yeah, it's not happening. This thread is years old and yet it's still just as unlikely now as it was then. I doubt they will ever add a new character to the main cast. Their concept of peripheral characters like Trogdor, Stinkoman and Senor Cardgage is flexible enough to allow this without any shark jumping.
