ALL RIGHT!!! HOMESCHOOL HAS A TOPIC!!! W00T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!one

Sorry, got a little carried away there. Anyways, I've always liked Homeschool. I just find him really interesting. I'd like to see what kind of personality he has. It would be cool to have him become a main character, but it would probably be too hard for TBC to make him a main character, so basically I'm hoping that at some point, Homeschool will make a cameo appearance.

I figured that at least you would reply to this topic, Homeschool. Personally, I can't see why people are so obsessed with this guy! I don't like him (the character, not the forum user ;) ).

Well, I'm obsessed with him because one day, I stumbled upon those old trading cards, and when I found him, he just seemed cool. Then, when I found out that he was gonna be Homestar's brother, I thought that was even cooler, because I thought it would be cool to see how much he was like Homestar. Ever since then, I've been obsessed with him.

Anyways ModestlyHotGirl, I can see why you, and some other people don't like him. He's never really appeared in much of anything, and I guess people just think he's useless. But I for one, am Homeschool's #1 fan.

I like HSW because he's a mystery. It's like any time you (meaning "I") stumble across something tucked away behind the scenes - I just have to get curious about what might've been. It's why I hope the Alpha and Beta test versions of Sonic The Hedgehog will one day be leaked to the web as well

Yeah, another reason I like him is because he's a mystery. It makes you wonder if he's as foolish as Homestar, or if he's just the opposite, and really smart. It gives you something to wonder about.

It's too bad that TBC decided not to use Homeschool. I think that he might have been funny. Who knows, I mean, TBC have brought back Senor and Mr. Bland, so maybe one day Homeschool will come back.

Wahoo! I love him! Why won't TBC bring him back?

Because he was a joke character that never had a chance in their opinion, most likely. He was based off a screw-up that a friend of theirs did (like Homsar. Heh.)

Based on the name, I've always assumed that HSW is nerdish and probably more than a little awkward socially, since he was presumably taught on his own at home, away from the other kids. He'd probably have something of a clique with Strong Sad

EDIT: You know, I could see that as a reason why he was dropped. Going entirely on hypothesis, it makes sense to assume that if he hangs out with Strong Sad then he gets as much abuse off the other Strong brothers. And once you get two socially awkward guys who hang out and get bullied by the tougher guys, then you're getting into a highschool vibe. That might have been okay at the beginning, but TBC have moved away from that since the days of The Yellow Dello

I'd really like to see Strong Sad having a friend, poor guy. I think homeschool would probably fit that void quite nicely.

Who cares, anyway? (?)

Now, I'm not trying to be rude, but I just don't see the fascination. I mean, he appeared once. In a pack of trading cards. And plus, the Ungaraits are cooler.

I could live with or without him. It doesn't really matter to me. I mean, how can you hate him when you've only seen him once? And he doesn't move, or nothin'? Oh well.

And now, so that I won't get banned for being rude...

He really doesn't have a personality beyond what we give him. Currently, it seems fan cannon is leaning towards villian. Heck, I'm planning on writing a story where he's a clinical pyschopath. I prefer him to be a fan cannon character than a "real" character.

Yeah, it does seem like Homeschool would probably get along with Strong Sad. Both of them would probably be really smart, and possibly somewhat unsocial.

Plus, for some reason, I imagine that Homeschool would really, really despise Homsar. I don't know why, though.

After you, like :bubs: get called "Tubs" wouldn't you despise the little blue short stuff too? :homsar:

Barring voice and/or personality, I still think I like Homestar more than Homeschool. Looks just a little more well-proportioned, elegant, old or new styles.
Personality, it seems as if homeschool might just be the top dog of the place. He likes as if he were the tall, handsome, athletic genius who can play 10 instruments and gets along with everyone and even respects the numerous ladies he gets. Just isn't a good homestar runner without some weird gaping fault (Homestar's speech/brainpower, Strong Bad's lack of ladies skill, Strong Sad's outcastness, etc.) I wouldn't have liked to see a "dominant" character

I'd think Homeschool of being a sort of nerd and/or freak of the gang. I mean, that comma screams grammer freak.

Homeschool Winner! He's old, but pretty cool, I've seen him on the old website before everything on the site changed! He's smarter than homestar!

I voted Number C. Maybe I could have a different opinion of him if there was ever a cartoon that starred the guy, but I think Homestar has enough of a rival in Strong Bad for Homeschool to show up now.

Homsar's my favorite character! Sewiously :hr:.
On the subject of Homeschool, I don't think TBC can actually bring him *back* seing as how they never brought him in the first place. I'd like to see him introduced, because I really like his look. But I'd take more Homsar or KoT over him.

That's just because I identify with the KoT, though... Mmmm, foooooood.... :kot:

Um..You've been reading too many fanfics!
He appereared in the back of a "never-even-used" character page, and in the backround of "Dancin Bubs". Never, I repeat NEVER has TBC mentioned anything about him being homestars brother!

He was never in a toon or anything- just a card and a background character. You don't know that he's smarter. In fact, you couldn't know.

Sadly, I don't remember which one, but I think TBC said in an interview that Homeschool was meant to be Homestar's brother. Then again, I could very well be wrong. Sorry, if I assumed to much though.

Anyways, I've always thought that Homeschool wouldn't be a dork/freak, as much as really helpful. He would probably always try to help everyone with their problems, and he would probably get on everyone's nerves a lot.
