Strong Sad's Dark Side

Everyone has noticed that :sad:

is changing.

He learned to stand up for himself finally.

What are your thoughts on this.

i feel that Its about time! SS is funny though at times. also one instance of him changing is in slumber party when SB is like "plz plz dont ask me how i know this" then SS says "how do u know that"

ahhhhhhhh classic.

The new Strong Sad is a vast improvement on the old Strong Sad, who was kind of boring. I wouldn't say he's evil, though.

The how do you know that? thing just reminded me of siblings bickering. As I'd had to listen to my brother and my sister arguing all day when I saw that email, I find it quite amusing.

I wouldn't call it his "dark side". That makes him sound like he's some kind of evil character

But yeah. I love seeing Strong Sad as a nerd rather than a random depressed character. I also just adore him and Strong Bad's relationship. It cracks me up each time.

Yeah, Strong Sad is hilarious. I used to think he was an okay-ish character. I hated how he was always depressed and boring. But, now he's cool! He's very funny, at times.

His change is funny,and i like it, but he's going evil, and thats agenst his character. If you think hese not evil then watch the end of DNA evidence. I bet he's gonna kill homsar :homsar:

now, because he knows strongSad Has the DNA evidence. But maby he's not evil & just part Hippo, like strong bad said. :sb:

I think he was just indulging in a bit of theraputic evil laughter. It's a good stress reliever.

I also think he started standing up to strong bad on main page 24 where he goes to the ca,era and holds up strong bads pants and says 'welll lookie what I found"

I think it started in stand-up when he showed Strong Bad's stand-up comedy. But he's definitely doing it more now.

He also says "Fans Favorites Strong Sad" in Pizza Joint. He doesn't think of himself of "Gawd they all hate me I suck" anymore.

I think his changing is interesting. I think he's decided, "I have had enough of being pushed around by my mean older brothers and that yellow spotted creep of theirs. I will not stand for it anymore!"

There is no way that Strong Sad will kill Homsar. Besides, if Homsar even did teach himself to speak one sentence that made sense, no one would probably believe him.

Anyway, I like the change. The Brothers Chaps cleverly snuck it in over the years.

New Strong Sad is definitely an improvement.
But old Strong Sad did have his moments.

I like how Strong Sad has finally developed enough self-esteem to be himself around his brothers. It makes for a lot more dynamic and funny interchanges between him and Strong Bad; they come across more like the Odd Couple now, and it makes Strong Bad less vindictive. Which I like.

I don't think Sad has really changed to be honest, we're just seeing more of his aggressive side. Remember he showed the video of lil SB bombing in Stand Up, and that was really the beginning. We're just seeing more of this nature.

Only in STAND-UP, SS wasn't being very aggressive, though. However, he may have been trying to be subtle of the whole deal.

His dark side, eh? Well, I guess he's standing up to SB more and being a little meaner, but, truth be told, I'm more worried by his enviromentalist side, like he might be turning into a whinier, male Marzipan. Not sure if it could happen, but I hpoe not. SS is a good character, and I don't like marzipan that much, definitely not enough to want two of her.
On the other hand, he is less depressed and more vengeful toward his bros., so good luck to him.

I must say that Strong Sad's vengeful side is a drastic improvement. Strong Bad has become the ringleader of the site, and someone needs to remind him to get off his high horse every once in a while. Who better to do this than the one who has the least self-confidence? My theory is that Strong Sad has become more dignified in propotion to Strong Bad's change in becoming a celebrity.

The change is a good thing for comedy's sake, but it kind of ruins the purpose of Strong Sad. He's the depressed, bullied one.
In a way, Strong Sad standing up for himself is like the Poopsmith talking, or the King of Town going on a diet.

That's the biggest exaggggggggggggeration ever. It's called character development. That's good. Not "Insane Jumping the Shark Character Changes".
