Sorry if there's already a thread for this but I couldn't find one. At first, I thought that homestar had invisible arms, but everyone calling him armless and time capsule leads me to believe he has teleknetic powers. So vote and discuss! |

It's just a joke, I just go along with stuff like that. How does Strong Bad type with boxing gloves on? |

I think it's two invisible arms. If you notice in the Yello Dello, Marzipan slaps Homestar and even though you can't see her arm moving you see the hand print on his face. I assume that Homestar's arms are probably invisible too. |

Well, in Your Friends, Strong Bad tells Marzipan to hold out her hands, so maybe they have arms. Or maybe that's just her, and not Homestar |

I say they have many invisible arms. Either that or telekinetic powers. |

Ya know, I'm not too sure. Maybe Homestar has figured out a way to create a highly localized disturbance in his gravitational field, allowing him to make objects "float" and move. Of course, this is just a theory, I tried working out the mathematics of it the other night, and my head A'Sploded. I used to think that he has some sort of magnetic levitation thingy, although that's not too plausable a theory. From what I've seen of magnetic levitation in Sci-Fi movies, it is usually accompanied by some sort of really cool sound effect. I don't hear the cool sound effect, ergo, no levitation. |

I think he has some kind of psychic powers, but he doesn't evn realize it. He probably just thinks objects move when he wants them to because of his sparkling personality. |

Well, I think he's got invivisble arms. Probably what TBC woudl say if a fan asks them XD My friend said that cowboys are better than Homestarrunnner, and he said it was because they have arms. Then I told him he has invisible arms, but he didn't believe me. So I told him arms are overrated >_> |

Homestar doesn't have any arms. He just picks stuff up without arms. |

I faced the same dilemma with VeggieTales. You hear all these jokes they make about clapping without arms and picking stuff up, opening and closing doors... but when you ask the creators about this, they just roll their eyes and say for umpteenth time: IT'S JUST A CARTOON! So I'm siding with them. It's just a cartoon. P.S.: I voted two invisible arms.

In the commentary for Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie with Larry, Mr. Lunt and Pa Grape, they reveal that they use "wire removal" to pick stuff up. |

Ath-a-late wrote: So I'm siding with them. It's just a cartoon. I'm just saying this because this is a more realistic cartoon instead of a cartoon where characters eyes pop out of there head and stuff like this. This is different than Strong Bad typing with boxing gloves on because that is a noted joke, while Homestar is just unexplained. |

The only reason Homestar is "unexplained" is because he doesn't have his own email show where people ask him how he picks stuff up without arms
Look at fingers; they do note the joke when Homestar has those fake arms. |

Shishu Hiwatari wrote: Look at fingers; they do note the joke when Homestar has those fake arms. Oh whoops, forgot about that. Oh yeah and with Marzipan she has invisible arms because in In Search of the Yello Dello Marzipan slaps homestar you can see the hand mark and they say she has beautiful hands. But Homestar is different Armless Invaders leads me to believe that Homestar doesn't have arms, but this is a poll and I want to see everyone else's opinion. Who put they didn't know Homestar didn't have arms? |

sigh, I didn't think that I would have to do another StevenHawking-style answer, but you forced me to. Ahem, Homestar, has a speciallized brain that, instead of emitting eletric (i.e. psycho-electric) brainwaves, operates on a certain frequency that can go through inter-dimentional space-time fabrics, and operate and interact with the world surrounding him. Using this certain emition (homemition as I will refer to it hereafter) he can summon and control certain elements around him (i.e. air compressions, very small solid particals in the air, pollens, ect.) to collect in semi-solid, yet semi-visible, collections. If you are still reading this, click on the 'o' in message bored. This homemition, as I have chosen to call it, will explain for Homestar Runner's brain/mind does not have enough mass or energy to power some other functions, namely common sense and higher and lower brain functions. And now, I will laugh at people who simply said: invisable arms. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! And if you are still awake, go here to get a prize. http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?Prize |

It was said at the NYU talk. Feel free to share your other crazy theories. |

Marzipan has invisible arms, since she slapped Homestar and it left a hand mark. The only unexplained characters are the KoT and Homsar. The world may never know, though. |

The KoT might have arms under his cloak. Homsar's arms might have been decapitated whn he was little. |

I likes that Dankstoner theory; I was going to say that myself about not having room in his brain for things like common sence. I wonder if this theory could apply to the Veggie tales, also? So when they're clapping, they're actually psychically influencing the air molecules near them to create reprecussions that sound like two hands slapping together. (Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about...) But what about the Poopsmith? Has anybody noticed that his really long gloves don't actaully seem to connect to his body? Maybe the Poopsmith has invisible arms too, but he wears visible gloves over them.
So that's the dilemma: on the one hand, we have lots of evidence that homestar and his friends may have invisible hands; on the other hand, the theory about the homestar emition is WAY cooler. In conclusion, I would like to say that Homestar Runner and Strong Bad singing "The Water Buffalo Song" would be something I would pay money to see.
