Homsar is quite over-rated. I think I have laughed at every single character double than what I ahve laughed at for Homsar. I think he got a chuckle out of me once, but he isn't funny. At all. And the fact of the matter is, if Homsar is so funny, than can't anyone be by just saying random things?

Homsar is a character that works BEST in small doses. I mean let's admit it, would we really like Homsar that much if he appeared as often as Strong Bad? I know I wouldn't. In my eyes, Homsar is the comic relief. Now I know there are A LOT of comic reliefs on H*R, but Homsar is a different kind of comic relief. He's the comic relief that only appears on rare occasions... usually when some one stops being funny.

So as you can probably guess, Homsar is SO GOOD in my mind. He never fails to make me laugh, he defies the laws of gravity, he's an awesome dancer and he was raised my a cup of coffee! How can you NOT love that?! He's also a man of many talents. Did you see his impersonation of Strong Sad? Man, I only wish Coach Z did...

I concur. This brings to mind one of my favorite Strong Badian proverbs, "Too much of a good thing is an awesome thing. But too much of an awesome thing is...umm...really, really dumb and bad." ;)

I was wondering why Homsar wasn't as funny anymore.
He is my ex-favourite character.
At first I thought it was because his randomness was becoming more sensical, but I reviewed old stuff and his first message to Mazipan is probably the most coherent stuff he's said, but it's still hilarious.
Then I realized that he's no less random, he's just less completely nuts.
Remember "Oh no! You shanked my Jenga ship!"
His voice went to more places and he came across as a complete lunatic, instead of just an excuse for a non-sensical phrase.

It's obvious he's needed in small doses, but I think the easter egg thing isn't where he's needed. He needs to interact! Interact!

"Hey Tubs! I just lost my Jenga Jam!"
"...Don't you talk to me."

I love Homsar. Yeah, I agree, he's a great example of Strong Bad's 'Too Much Of A Good Thing...' theory. I would like to see him a bit more, though.

He's kind-of endearing, too. With Senor Cardgage, you have weird ramblings and one heckuva shady character, but when Homsar rambles on you kinda wanna...hug the little dude.

I actually like him more for his cute-osity. Like blowing bubble when he said 'toons' and that little 'biddly biddle' sound he makes when he runs. x3

He always made the Hallowe'en tunes for me. <3 His costumes were just so...Creative.

I suppose he is kind of cute. I've always thought of him as a messed up Homestar. I felt sorry for him getting squished on his first appearance.

My favourite character. He had me from the first cartoon I saw, Pumpkin Carve-inal.

He's only good in small doses, but he also needs parts where he speaks to other characters. Him saying 'Eggs tree, eggs tree!' is all well and good, but Where's The Cheat with him was pure comedic gold.

Never really got the humor behind Homsar. But I guess the site would be missing something without him, and I see a lot of people like him. Certainly no greater doses of him than we have now, though.

I like Homsar. He's myserious and stuff. He's also kind of an underdog among the other characters.

Homsar is great because he's so bizarre and I always look forward to seeing him in Halloween toons. :homsar:

Homsar is a good character, but only in small doses. I mean, he makes me laugh loads, and gives me and my friend something to quote on internetless residentials, but he couldn't ever be the main character of something.

End result: Soooo good!

Homsar definitly adds a healthy dose of random to the series!

So, in other words,

SOO GOOD!

Homsar was raised by a cup of coffee.
What beats that?

I think there should always be a really random character to break the tense times. A little refresher sort of thing, although I think his humor appeals to the younger audiences of the series.

I really likes him! But I think the TBC should encorperate him more into the actual toons instead just easter eggs. He's a lot more funny when he is acctually interacting with the other characters.
SOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD!

Homsar works best in small doses. But what's really remarkable is the degree to which TBC have gotten the size of those doses just right. Not too much, not too little. And that's really great and hilarious.

The way they use him is good. He has some funny moments, but a few of them that stick out (like :hr: "Hey Homestar" or :bubs: "Don't you talk to me") really involve the other characters more. I don't think I'd miss him much if he was gone, but I like him the way he is.

I stick by my claim. Homsar is a really good character when used right. Possibly one of my favourites.
Without him, my friend and I would have nothing to quote. And that means an awkwardly quiet breaktime.
And you need randomness. You really, really do.
:homsar: forever.
