This is my idea
Strong Bad= Republican
Homestar= Independent (too stupid to have a political view)
Strong Sad= Communism (see Homestarloween Party for details)
Marzipan= Liberalist
Coach Z= Democrat (somehow he reminds me of a Democrat)
King of Town= Monarchy
Homsar= Green Party

Myself I'm a Republican and Pro Bush

*hopes that this thread won't eventually turn into a heated political debate*

Anyway, I can buy into the idea that Homestar's too dumb for a political party. As for Strong Bad, I think Strongbadia would probably have its' own political party and its' own supacool nickname for it. I'm not sure SB would be pro-Bush because of his thing against bad grammar, but you never can tell with that guy. Actually, it would be cool if there were more toons making fun of politics on the site.

The only reason why I said Strong Bad would be republican because he has more of the red that the blue. You know. That's the primary color for the republicans, red. As for Homestar, he looks very American. You know he has the white star on the red shirt, with the blue baseball cap. I think TBC just made Homestar as some American icon thing. :hr:

This topic smells suspiciously like flamebait, but I'll play along until it gets ugly.

Strong Bad: Libertarian
Strong Sad: Socialist
Bubs: Libertarian or Republican
The Cheat: Republican
Marzipan: Green
The Kerrek: Prohibition

That's all I got.

Strong Bad is probably not republican. Remember the first halloween toon?

:marzi: :And, the third girl was a Republican.

:sb: : Oh, brother!

I think the reason why he said that was because Marzipan was be a little feminine with the ghost story. You know, Strong Bad doesn't like small animals. Rememeber in email "little animal" when he kick The Cheat. So yeah that what I mean.

Yeah, but the Republican thing was the last straw that made Strong Bad burst out like that.

They don't have political parties! They're innocent cartoon characters that don't tangle themselves in the sticky business of politics!

She was trying to say that republicans hate animals, keep in mind that marzipan's a hippie.

Anyway I would say that homestar is independant, he just doesn't care or know about politics.

That's what I would say. Remember "the show"?

HOMESTAR RUNNER: The Poopsmith, for 500 points: Would you care to share with us some of your polictical [sic] views? {The Poopsmith brings out a sign that says "Hey, um, I'm gonna go now." He walks off.} And Pom Pom, for the block. Do you agree? {Pom Pom bubbles and bounces off. Canned applause.}

They completely blew him off.

Nah no way Strong Sad is a Marxist/Communist. He's too. what's the word. Non-radical I guess. He wouldn't try to reform anything. I'm betting Democrat for SS.

Strong Bad - Dictatorship
Strong Mad- Douglas?
Strong Sad - Democrat
Homestar - I'll go with Independent. He doesn't really have much going for him.
Marzipan - She's a hippie so I'll go with Anarchist.
Bubs - Republican
Homsar - I'm the human wedgie
King of Town - That's a hard one but i'm gonna go with monarchy
Coach Z - Independent
The Poopsmith - Buddhist. He's taken a vow of silence.

EDIT: Whatever political parties buddhists are in. I blanked out on what I was doing :/

Strong Bad: Doesn't care about politics.

Strong Mad: Howard Dean; "YEEEEEAAAAARGHHHHHH!!!"

Strong Sad: Independent Nader supporter

Homestar: "What awe you guys tawking about? Some kind of witches' bwew?" No affiliation.

Da Chort: Democrat. Don't know why.

Bubs: "Don't bother votin' for all them OTHER candy-dates! Vote for BUBS and you get a free 25 cent discount on all 25 cent overpriced items down at the shop!" His very own party. Bubs-ublican.

Coach Z: Democrat, because P. Diddy told him to Vote or Die.

Pom Pom: Doesn't belong to any FCUSA parties, he's a Pom. Pom Party.

Marzipan: Green Party, they're the hippy party.

The KoT: Insists that he is the only ruler and parties are treason, but then gets distracted by Bubs' fundraiser banquet.

Poopsmith: Doesn't care.

Homsar: "DaAaAaAaA! I'm the last noisemaker of Halloween!" Has no clue about politics.

All I know is that Strong Bad would probably favor a dictatorship, as long as he was the dictator, and the King Of Town would favor a monarchy. Like everyone else said, Homestar is too dumb to understand politics. Homsar just wants "caramel corn" to be president, and finally, The Cheat would support Strong Bad for president, but that doesn't matter because small furry animals are probably not allowed to vote.

:hr: He'd be a democrat. Wibewal. Because Marzipan is.
:marzi: No doubt that she's a liberal.
:bubs: Conservative, though he'd charge you to ask him about his views.
:poop: He's in the Poop-shoveler's labor union, so he'd do liberal
 The American government depresses him. He'd vote the way goth's usually vote. Don't know any goths though...
:sb: He's young and he has attitude. And what do you think his reaction to Bush would be? Either liberal or South Park conservative
:homsar: I smile when I try to imagine what this guy would do to a ballot.
:pom: You know, most Cubans I know are somewhat conservative, and most other foreign people I know lean liberal. But he dressed up as M. Moore, so I'll say liberal
:kot: You think this guy understands deomcracy?
:sm: Who cares.
:coachz: What the one guy said with Wu Tang. He's liberal
 Ask him what his party is and count on it being the opposite of what he says
:ehsteve: "what's your party, sir" "EH! STEVE!"

Ah come on. None of the characters ARE Canadian, and I'm not Canadian, so I don't see how you could expect me to put any in.

Why do people think that Strong Bad is conservative though?

E: And I stand by my idea that the King of Town has no understanding of American government, and has knowledge of politics he doesn't know what a ploitical party is? "The Republican party? Where? Does it have FOOD?"

The Poopsmith is a blue collar worker and therefore would probably be a Democrat. Then again, a lot of southern blue collar workers tend to be Republican.

Marzipan is a liberal and Bubs is a conservative, no question.
