Personally I would say he is French, he here are the facts-

Fact 1-He likes to cook stuff from the cake, pasta salad, and the duck a L`Orange.

Fact 2-From email "cheat talk", the easter egg, with the language course thing, does have that Frenchy likeness theme.

Fact 3-In the Decemberween special "Decemberween Pageant" why would The Cheat as "Popular Vote" be in scene with the Eiffel Tower in it?

That is all I can come up with right now. I am in an Internet Cafe in Europe right now. So I won't be visiting as much. Hope this won't be too controversial.

Possibly the best indicator of all is in "New Boots" when it is revealed that The Cheat's favorite is wine and a baguette.

Actually though, I think he'd be "Prench," since they have Prance instead of France in H*R

I doubt Teh Cheat is Prench. He's way too ferocious!!!

:hr: And Strong Sad could have a spear even...

What did IanTheGecko say? Something tells me it's about a 50th anniversary.

I think he said: I love France! I'm going to Paris with my mother this July for her 50th anniverary.

I think. I only know French because I'm Canadian.

Anyway, the Cheat is probably just one of those refined-type peoples that like wine and baguettes and stuff like that. So I said no. But I wouldn't be suprised if TBC went somewhere with his Frenchiness...

The Cheat probably does have some fondness for French-type things as evidenced by his food preferences and the Eiffel Tower costume, but the idea that he actually IS French himself because of that seems a bit of a reach to me, so I chose no. If that were the case, I'd think it would show up a bit more in his character than it does on the site, but maybe I actually could be wrong. Also, the French theme was really just an example used in the language course Easter Egg thing - the theme could have easily been German, Italian or Spanish.

The Cheat's not any nationality in my opinion. I think he's just supposed to be a really talented animal.

I don't think the Cheat is French. Nor do I think any animal has a "nationality". Maybe Teh C. is just really refined.

Are you implying that the French language is nothing more than unintelligible squeaks and grunts? Are you asking for a challenge, sir?

I'm back again. I just want to say that the Easter Egg in "cheat talk" it does have the Frenchy theme because it uses the colors of the flag of France. I'm in Bern right now and next will be a city in Germany that no body cares about. Bye!

I don't think that The Cheat is french. He's just The Cheat. He's is own little creature.

OK, just the claps! Just the claps!

I wish we had a music note emoticon; I could have used it.

But seriously, The Cheat is not a tape-leg. I mean French.

The Cheat isn't necessarily French, though he does seem to have very expensive taste in everything.

Why is it that I'm less inclined to agree with people who use proper grammar? Can't anyone literate make a good point?

Seriously, no. The Cheat is not French. "Meh" =/= "moi".

bah, by seeing the french flag, and immediately assuming he's french, you could take the fact that he wore an istanbul sign..oh yeah, he's in istanbul..nt..constantinople.

Is not just the french flag. He has that french taste in foods like wine and a baguette.

I like French food and I'm not French. My parents like Chinese food, they're not Chinese. The Cheat isn't any ethnicity at all anyway. He's an animal.

I think that since The Cheat is a cross between a duck and a jaguar (possibly a CHEATah). and neither of those are french, his nationality is not french. He clearly speeks cheatese. Cheatese is not french.

Actually, he's an anvil made of cheese, mutated by the fishsticks in the egg.

OR just a living cheese-anvil hybrid.

They probably would've given him a beret if he were french.

Now that's a look the Cheat should consider...
