This thread could probably have just as easily been posted in the Getting To Know You section, since it's kind of a share part of your personality-type thread, but since it pertains to H*R characters as well, I figure I'll post it here. Here are mine:

Homestar Runner: Sometimes I can be tactless to people without even realizing it - I'm really quite naive when it comes to social cues. I also favor Mountain Dew.
Strong Bad: I share his deep fondness for nostalgia related to the 80's, old computers, music, etc., as I hope anyone my age does.
The Cheat: I haven't tried any animations as of yet, but if I used Flash, my toons would be a very similar crude style to his, going by my less than awesome 2 years old boy Paint artwork. And I can be very self-centered in the same way his toons show him to be.
Strong Mad: I have the same type of affection for a couple of my cats as he does for The Cheat. That's about the only thing I can think of.
Strong Sad: Judging from his blog, I share quite a bit of his taste in music (The Cure, Bowie, probably Talking Heads, etc.) - I think he probably would quite like Joy Division and the Red House Painters too if he doesn't already.
Pom Pom: Umm... he was Michael Moore in one Halloween toon, so maybe he's a fan! I'm somewhat of a fan (especially of Fahrenheit 9/11), so uh... that's something.
Marzipan: I share her fondness for playing acoustic guitar, though mine doesn't have a name yet.
Bubs: I look somewhat awkward physically much like him (well, every H*R character looks awkward, but Bubs particularly). And I've been known to not always be honest with people.
Coach Z: Well, I share his fondness for sports, whatever those might be. And I take his 'you can't just rush into the score zone' thing as a starting point for sports analogies I make all the time and have made in some posts on this Forum.
The King Of Town: Outside of my circle of friends, in high school I was considered somewhat of an outcast that nobody took seriously. Though I do have way cooler friends than a Knight or a guy who shovels crap for a living.
The Poopsmith: Of everyone I know, I'm probably the most likely to take a vow of silence in a large crowd of people.
Homsar: No real clue. I don't necessarily talk like him, but I used to write surrealistic poetry all the time that made about as much sense as his sayings do.

I can't think of anything I have in common with Homestar, Homsar, the King of Town, Strong Mad, Bubs, Coach Z, or the Poopsmith. So who does that leave?

Strong Sad: I'm kind of a loner and I guess you could say I'm a nerd.

Strong Bad: I have a bit of intolerance toward bad spelling and grammar, but not to the degree he does. It only really bothers me when I have to spend half an hour trying to translate or when people type in all caps.

The Cheat: I have some interest in Flash, but I haven't done anything with it before. I actually tried to download the demo but the file was corrupted. Nice waste of like, 20 hours on my 56k.

Marzipan: I also play guitar.

Pom Pom: He was the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man for Halloween, and I always loved that thing.

Going to post similarities to some but not all, because such a long post is read-deterring.

Strong Sad - we're both somewhat loners, although I have a couple friends instead of none. We also both speak grammatically correct English (at least for the most part on my behalf).
Homsar - both quite eccentric.
Strong Mad - brute physical strength, pretty similar face
The Cheat - short, but computer savvy

This should be a poll: Which character do you most resemble?

If I weren't so reserved about having my pic on the internet (not putting mine til my sunglasses come in!) I'd do this weird idea: Posting 12 small pictures of yourself doing a facial impression of all of the characters!

Good call. Just added a poll, and I'm trying to decide myself between Homestar and Strong Sad. I'm probably going with Strong Sad because I definitely have been made fun of/beaten up on enough in my life, and a lot of times I normally keep to myself.

I'm just like him. I don't know why. He reminds me of myself.

I'm nothing like Homestar Runner at all, except for the mountain dew. Like Strong Bad, I'm sarcastic and love the 80s. The only thing I have in common with Strong Mad is thick eyebrows. Like Strong Sad, I write lots of poetry, and listen to some similar music. The only thing I have in common with the Cheat is my uncanny ability to speak in squeaky gibberish. Like Bubs, I'm opportunistic and glib. Like Coach Z, I mangle the pronunciation of new words. Like the KOT, I love to eat. Other than being female, I'm not like Marzipan at all. And like Homsar, I can be rather random.
Nothing for Pom Pom or Poopsmith (thank goodness)

Well, here's my thing with the characters :

Homestar : We share a simalar lisp (Granted mine's not as bad) And I can be clueless often as well.

Strong Bad : Very cocky, I too like to think that all the ladie love me.

Strong Sad : I'm the youngest of three brothers, and I used to get constantly beat up all the time.

Strong Mad : I do have a secret little soft spot for cute, furry things.

Homsar : I can be pretty random at times.

Marzipan : I'm a huge hippy, ya hear me?

Bubs : I'm always thinking of ways to get rich.

The Cheat : I do like to steal from friends, but usually only as a joke.

Coach Z : I to feel left out at times, and not as cool as the others.

The KOT : We're both like to eat, alot. But I'm skinny because I excercise.

The Poopsmith : Sometimes, I just rather not speak.

Pom-Pom : To tell you the truth, I'm secretely a big baloon too.

And there we go.

I voted for the Poopsmith.

I tend to blend into the background wherever I go, and I don't talk much at all. If I have a job to do, I do it myself, and I rarely am bored even with mundane tasks. And I have a big lower lip.

Man, I am the Poopsmith.

As for some other characters, I have the King of Town's appetite, Bub's physique, and Strong Bad's taste in video games.

HOMESTAR: I love Mountain Dew. And I can also be absent minded at times. But I'll not stupid like him. Or arm-less.

STRONG BAD: Well, I'm on my computer a lot, I guess. And I have a little pet. (A lot of little pets, actually.) But I don't think of myself as the ladies' man, so we're quite different.

STRONG MAD: I'm the oldest brother of my family.

THE CHEAT: We share the same cheatday.

STRONG SAD: I don't have many friends in real life...

BUBS: Uhh... I like money.

COACH Z: Nothing much.

MARZIPAN: I like cute things.

POM POM: Umm...

KOT: I like eating. Yep.

THE POOPSMITH: Thankfully nothing.

HOMSAR: No real similarities there.

Homestar: I have a preference for Mountain Dew and can be absent-minded sometimes. I am not stupid, however.

Strong Bad: I am awesome. I hate 1337 and other bad grammar mistakes like him. I am not a mexican wrestleman, however.

Strong Mad: Er...nope. Not like him, except I do protect my friends.

Strong Sad: I'm kinda like him. I'm a loner and somewhat of a nerd.

The Cheat: Eh...I like Flash. Though I can't make my own animations.

In conclusion, I think I resemble Homestar the most. But not by much.

I write really depressing poetry, like the same music (The Cure), have no friends (seriously, but it doesn't help that I just moved from N.S to Alberta, and that i'm increadibly shy), I'm not the skinniest, I whine a bit, people like to hurt me, I LOVE board games, I'm good at calligraphy, and last but not least I have a older cousin that beats me and treats me like SB does to SS, but atleast he doesn't throw knifes at me.
