Normally I would choose Strong Sad, but he just took center stage in "A Folky Tale". Instead I'm giving my vote to The King of Town. I've wanted to know more about him ever since "The Bet".

I'd definitely say The Cheat. Not only because he's adorable and cool, but also because he's always been THE LACKEY and not THE STAR.

He has never been THE STAR.

Meh, hard to choose...I can't think of any character that would do well starring in a toon...especially not the Poopsmith, he doesn't even talk.

I went for Coach Z, just because to me, he feels like one of the more developed supporting characters and might be able to pull it off...plus, he just makes me laugh in general.

I've always wanted the Poopsmith to become the star just once.

I'd like to see Bubs or Coach Z have their own toon, so I voted Bubs.

I'm going with Pom Pom, though Homestar would probably be there a lot repeating what he says, thefore translating it to us (liek he normally does) it's about time for Pom Pom to get back in the game. My second choice would be Strong Mad, he can be pretty hilarious, though I'm not sure how theyt'd make a toon starring him..

I'm surprised with all the talk around here about the current lack of Pom Pom these days that he's not winning this poll by a total landslide. He's way, way overdue for a starring role in a toon/short, and I think TBC realize this. I wouldn't mind seeing one either.

I completely agree that Pompom deserves his own toon. But wouldn't it be confusing since he can't talk? :pom: So I said Bubs, because Coach Z had a major role in A Folky Tale and he already had his own toon: A Jorb Well Done. :coachz: :bubs:

Bubs, he seems like one of those sitcom characters you watch on TV. Besides, the way he tries to get people to buy stuff is funny. Or the way he tries to escape the law.

Have any not already had something about them? The cheat has two theme song videos, and a few SBemails about him.

Strong Sad - Experimental Film, Folky Tale, Impression (kinda)
Strong Mad - The Facts (which ain't much, granted), was featured heavily in haircut.
Pom Pom - A SBemail but that's it.
Marzipan - Sweater is all I can think of
Coach Z - Jorb Well Done
Bubs - Split Seniorial Day with Cardgage, plus lunch special
KoT - Where's the Cheat, the bet, has his own game and such
Poopsmith - Kiiiinda had his own.

And that's only the ones that had them in significant role. I mean there was a SBEmail about just about everyone at some point. Like I've said, non-talking characters are hard to make toons about, and I just plain don't think Marzipan's very interesting.

So... to answer the question... Bubs, I suppose. :p

Hippity Homsar, I agree with you on many of your points.

Strong Sad has been featured heavily as of late, which is an awesome, awesome thing.

Coach Z was the undeniable star of "A Jorb Well Done". That was so long ago though, I think it's safe to say he's good for another go.

Bubs has definitely had a lot of exposure as of late. I'm not crazy about Bubs, but this doesn't annoy me or anything.

Strong Mad has been featured heavily in some Strong Bad E-mails, but don't think instances like these really count. While Strong Mad, Pom Pom, and The King of Town have all had the honor of being the main focus of a Strong Bad E-Mail, the fact still remains that it is a STRONG BAD E-mail. Strong Bad is the star. I'm not saying that you don't believe this, but it is a truth worth emphasizing. I'd like to see characters star in their own vehicles that are not extensions of another character's vehicle.

Is that so much to ask?

P.S. The more I see of Marzipan, the more I like her. She's got a down-to-earth charm that the rest of Free Country, USA lacks, to say the least.

Although I'm always up for more Coach Z (I just love the guy), my vote went to Marzipan. She's an independent woman, as she says in her character video, and should be given a chance to prove this and not just be "Homestar's girlfriend." Let her shine! But I'm really sleepy, so now I'll shut up and go to bed...

If Mike, Matt and Missy all get laryngitis at the same time, they could do "The Adventures of Pom-Pom and The Poopsmith".

If that was actually likely. Laryngitis isn't contagious.

Yeah, Pom Pom does need a toon that focusis on him. Sure, a Pom Pom toon that has to do with entirly Pom Pom might not be that funny or great, but one that just has him at least IN A TOON would be better than nothing!

Marzipan needs her own toon, for real. Seriously, I think she deserves a bit of credit for being the one and only girl! ;)

Bubs. I find him inherently funny, and his backstory seems like it would be interesting.

Pom Pom is a very underappreciated character. He was bigger in the day, but now he's slipping off to nothing.

I say Bubs, I don't know why. I'd just rather him than the others.
You can't really do ones for The Cheat or Strong Mad, they can hardly talk!

I think Marzie needs some limelight other than being on the spot when Homestar ticks her off.

I think that's where "Cool Things" comes in.

Hmmm.... The idea of a Bubs toon does appeal to me. He's "solid" enough to have a good toon based on him.
