Dunno why almost everyone here (especially in that other thread) seems to put Coach Z somewhere in the mid-40s. Forget that "old man" quote, I feel like an old man myself sometimes, so that don't mean nothin'.

He "raps" and does hip-hop dances - does that sound like a 45-year-old? Early-to-mid-30s, that's my vote.

And about the "they don't age" or "head too big for body" disputes.... They - Are - Cartoons.

I think he raps cause of mid-life crisis.

My science teacher used to rap....he's 32, white, and a republican, so it really varies.

Knowing the age helps you understand their way of life, personality and the characters more fully.

Come ON people. They don't really have any age, if TBC wanted you to know, they would say so. But I like to think of them as kind of young-ish people except for KoT and Bubs...and maybe Homsar, he's like...Homestar's uncle or something xDD

I always assumed that they were grown up, but immature.

There's been a lot of posts about age lately...They mustn't really have real ages as many cartoon characters don't! like, bugs bunny, mickey mouse, etc. But i guess there's no harm in guessing the ages.

I think they graduated in 2000 http://homestarrunner.com/autographs.html, and They were at school in the Yellow dello

Why the HECK does everyone think :bubs: and :coachz: are middle aged? They don't act like it, and since they're cartoons, it's not like you'd be able to tell. They're probably maybe ten years older then the rest. 30 years. But still, who cares?

They have jobs, so why wouldn't they be adults? Also, they're two of the taller characters.

Also, Coach Z was pretty old when Strong Bad was small. And Bubs is bulky and has a grown up attitude and job.

Someone said that they don't age. Well I disagree since REAL TIME passes in this world, I think they do age. I mean the, "You can't come to next year's party" thing, and it's like Strong Bad has matured quite a bit. So, I mean, it's not as if they don't have an age, or as if they don't age. Well, they don't look older but THEY ARE ADULTS! Or at least young adults.

Homestar Runner cartoons have been around since 1936 so they are all at least 68.

Umm... those are different people... the counterparts from the past. That's why so many of them have different names (Fat Dudley, Sickly Sam, The Kaiser, Strong Man, The Sneak) Case closed.

Marzipan isn't particuarly skinny. She's kinda... skirt-shaped.

And if they had ages, TBC would probably have told us. They're cartoons. I don't think they really have ages. They're just kinda.. there.

Everyone seems to have overlooked the fact that MOST OF THEM DRINK BEER. I personally think that Strong Bad, Homestar, Strong Mad, Marzipan, and Pompom are in their 20s, Strong sad is 17, Bubs and Coach Z are in their late 30s-mid 40s, and the KoT is around 60. Homsar is just weird. Oh, and about 12-year-olds not being good at flash: I personally can make better flash cartoons than The Cheat, and a lot of my friends can make better flash toons than me. And I'm 12.

We didn't mention beer because some people still don't believe cold ones are beer. But now it has been proven a fact.
