I just don't expect that in Homestar Runner. Nothing wrong with it, but it seems kind of out-of-series to me. |

While I do agree that Homestar Runner is not used as much as he should be, I would say the same thing about almost every other character besides Strong Bad. Basically, he has taken over the site! And most of the minor characters are creations from his email show. Of course I think his emails are hilarious, but when was the last time they updated Marzipan's answering machine? ...Last August |

There does need to be more of a focus on the toons rather that the e-mails. The latest Decemberween toon is a perfect example of that. |

Well I personally think that they do just fine the way it is. Maybe a most of the attention goes to Strong Bad but it's in a good way. Through him we get to know the characters including the star Homestar himself. Plus...let's face it. Homestar is at his best when he's with Strong Bad. So now days both Strong Bad and Homestar are the main characters but I think that works really well.
lol maybe totaly off but that's just what I think. But my point is I love the website how it is and I wouldn't have it any other way.

All SBEmails star Strong Bad, mostly. Strong Sad is a co-star at best. And Expierimental Film was just a music video. The reason we don't have a Strong Sad cartoon from his point of view is probably because it wouldn't be funny. |

"Everybody loves the Homestar Runner" is a very old line that was used to describe Homestar back in the day. "Eveybody loves the Homestar Runner, he is a terrific athelete..." But yeah, now the homestar runner is 1936. but I'm sure he was just quoting the aforementioned line |

Remember in the old days when Homestar would appear in all toons, like "A Jorb Well Done", "The Luau", "Where's the Cheat?", and the old toons. And in those days, Strong Bad was a supporting character, and Pom Pom and Marzipan were popular and funny back then as well as Homestar's friend and girlfriend (respectively). Now look at the website now. In every toon, Strong Bad has to make an appearance (like the L'il Brudder show), and if he isn't, then that's because that toon is made by Strong Bad (like TGS, and Issue 8 had Strong Bad himself). It's almost like, everything in the website is being influenced by Strong Bad (i.e. Strong Bad's crude drawings of L'il Brudder and Tendafoot were made into a TV show). And replacing Pom Pom (his rate of appearances now seems to match the Poopsmith's (and Pom Pom seems to be hanging around with the Poopsmith these days than Homestar IMO) (even Homsar's rate of appearances is higher than Pom Pom, and Homsar making an appearance is supposed to be rare)) and Marzipan (who is ultimately boring now) in popularity are The Cheat and Strong Mad because Strong Bad replaces Homestar in popularity. Face it. Soon, the Brother Chaps might as well have to change the website into Strong Bad dot com. And soon, Marzipan, Pom Pom, and maybe even Homestar might get replaced by characters made by Strong Bad. All right, long post done. But, who thinks that Pom Pom is bound to be replaced. I mean, it seems like he's not supposed to be a Homestar Runner character anymore. |

I think you are right, Pom Pom seems to be used a lot less... probably because he has very little place anymore. He's no longer Homestar's friend, he's someone who gets annoyed like everyone else when Homestar talks. And I don't think Marzipan's humor level changed... |

It's hard to be funny with someone who can't talk.  
And since Pom Pom and Homestar aren't friends anymore, I can imagine Pom Pom disappearing for good. I mean, he wasn't even in the last Decemberween cartoon, which was the most recent toon to star Homestar. |

Well, I don't think Pom-Pom, Marzi, or Homestar are going to be replaced, but yeah, there does need to be more of a focus on them. With some effort, they can be really funny. Just look at 'Where's The Cheat?' A perfect example on how funny Homestar and Marzi can be. |

For those of you who watch Bonus Stage, remember that Rya became a main character after another character was killed? What if the same thing happens in Homestar Runner, with less violence of course. What I mean is, if Homeschool Winner is actually going to be a main character while replacing another main character, who would that replaced main character be? For me, it's Pom Pom. There's no place for him in the website anymore. Heck, he barely bubbles, he's not funny, and he's not even Homestar's friend anymore (Pom Pom hangs out with the Poopsmith these days). What do you think? |

i'd like Homeschool to appear... I dunno... Pom Pom hasn't been big since... like. A Jumping Jack Contest. He served well when it was Homestar vs Strong Bad... now he's just along for the ride. |
