Strong Dad?

Post subject:  Strong Dad?
Can anybody imagine a possible appearance by the father of the Brothers Strong? It's unlikely, but it could be funny if done well. Their parents, or at least their mother, has been referenced at least once, so a father could quite easily exist.

What kind of guy do you think Strong Dad would be? What would he look like?

It'd be interesting to see but I doubt we'll ever see a Strong Dad or any other parent in person. I think an occasional, isolated reference to their existence is effective enough for the storytelling. After all, we had decades of Peanuts without an actual appearance of an adult or parent and that series did fine.

If they chose to introduce or elaborate on a parent in the H*R universe, they'd have to be very careful going about it lest it suggest they're jumping the shark.

They had a Strong Dad, in the Museum area, go to fanstuff, someone drew him.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot they took fanstuff out, well it used to be there.

TBC have said that one of the questions they pretty much ignore automatically when looking for the next email is "What do your parents look like?" I guess this would fall under that.

Also, the Brothers Chaps call their father "Strong Dad" on occasion.

If TBC haven't introduced the Strong Parents by now, I doubt they ever will. I think they deliberately avoided ever introducing them in order to let fan imaginations run wild, and they probably realize anything they come up with would be way different than what most expect. So I don't think adding them in there is a good idea.

We all know the answer to this one. Señor Cardgage is obviously Strong Bad's dad. He was an accident, and that's why Señor Cardgage left and started lurking. And that's why Strong Bad has such a vague memory of him, or something. Distrubing, huh?

It's an interesting theory, but I really doubt it. If Cardgage really was the Strong Dad, then why would Strong Sad refer to him as "that creep Señor Cardgage that lived down the street from us when we were little"?

Easy. Strong Sad's adopted. :p

I think the real reason we don't show the parents is because that would either make Strong Bad a adult that's moved out or a little kid that still lives with his parents. Age ambiguity is what part of makes H*R so attractive to some people.

Keep this in mind: Strong Sad is younger then Strong Bad, so he may not even remember their father at all!

Seems kinda jumping the sharkish, so no, I seriously doubt they would ever do such a thing.
