This is just a fantasy toon that could NEVER happen!

For those of you who don't know I'm not quite dead yet (not that I'm dying) I just thought that you should know seeing as I am a first born son, and in the mean time I would like to see Mike's and Matt's crazy go nuts interpretation of the story of a passoverlike holiday. And many others for that matter. Ramadan = Fastoberween perhaps? Anyone got any other ideas?

ps: Again, I know they'd never actually do it cuz reliogion is a touchy subject. even if you cover all the bases, scientologists and fundamentalist christians will still get ticked. example: South Park

As someone who looks forward to Passover every year, I would love to see TBC's interpretation of it. And any other holiday not commonly recognized in America.

However, I know that they like to steer clear of religious affiliations because they have such a broad fan base consisting of people from (I presume) every religion. And I respect the fact that they don't want to get involved, because it could turn pretty sticky for them and also portray them in a bad light. Halloween and Independence day are typically more secular holidays, so they pose less of a problem. And by making a generic winter holiday toon (Decemberween), they also manage to include a holiday that doesn't necessarily hold religious meaning to some but still includes others who do view it that way.

true, but still, they could do an offseason themed holiday, such as marchtoberfest or something, and add just a smidgeon (is that how u spell that?) of something sorta related to the holidays that occur during that time of year.

Also, i just had a random unrelated thought...:marzi: in a bikini. she has one gigantic foot under the skirt apparently.

There's no such thing as Scotchtoberfest!

...I mean, sure, Marzipan in a bikini would be great.

Though a Passover type toon might be nice, I severly doubt that they'll make one. Not that I'm saying that it's impossible, it's just likely not to happen.

Well anyone not affiliated with the religion being represented in the toon would feel a bit, not left out, but in the dark about what is really happening in the toon, and wouldnt' be able to grasp its proper meaning.

So I don't really think specific religious related toons would be a good idea.

hey, you don't see them making a channukah cartoon do you!
but I have to admit it would be kind of cool to see an interpertation.
I think a strong badian passover is the way to go, the strory of the strong badians freedom from the...kot's castle subjects

oh and how you spell smidgen is S-M-I-D-G-E-N

Oh, I know it's not likely. I'm glad they steer clear of religious topics all together. It creates an inviting, all-inclusive environment, which I think is a huge part of their success.

I dunno...Decemberween was kinda created to be a christmas holiday with no religeous beliefs in the Homestar universe. So making a new one would be pointless.

Yea, I know they'd never do it, but Strong Mad Moses would be awesome! It is for the best they stay away from religion though, look at what happened to South Park recently... STRONGMOSES!

also to the Scotchtoberfest guy, they should totally have that at KoL!

Maybe in the style of the Passover Rugrats episode(which is kick-awesome, BTW)

The story of Passover as the characters interpreting the story in there own crazy-mixed up way.

Oh, and...MARZIPAN IN A BIKINI???!!! A-jibblay, a jibblie, jibbilay jibbilay...

I'll have to make a MS Paint mock-up of that.
