Pom pom is so rad. I think his bubbling voice is rad. Because it's, like, he is this happy bouncing beachball, and he doesn't have hands like the powerpuff girls, and he sounds so happy bubbling, but like in reality he is probably spinning out two live crew lyrics, and he will probably smack you down for dissing his homies..
I liked his aborted marzipan message. Just "beep" and then this bubbling starts up, and you can imagine pom pom just shoving his face at the phone bubbling up some nastiness about homestar.

Pom pom doesn't talk often when he's angry, he tends to get quieter and often narrow his eyes in averice.. but it would be funny to hear what he sounds like really angry. Like maybe he bubbles louder, or more profusely, or boils over.

That and I'd like to see Strong Sad just lose it and deck somebody.

Sweet Cuppin cakes and 20X6 need to be used more..they're both hilarious! and yeah..even though tons of people have said this, but Pom Pom could be used a lot more. He seems to act as a smart sidekick to Homestar and maybe TBC could use him doing something else..

That would indeed be great. He's already becoming less of a doormat than he used to be - he insulted Strong Bad mercilessly in Different Town and (correct me if I'm wrong?) he got angry for the first time and actually intimidated the other three on the "Experimental Film" video. So he's on his way...

Although I agree with you on the 20x6 point, SCC gets all the usage it needs. If you think about it, it relies on one joke: utter spontaneity. And if that's used any more than it currently is, the joke gets stale fast.

Hmm, that reminds me of a certain underbite man with a bowler hat on...

I agree with you about Sweet Cuppin' Cakes, Upsilon. If TBC make just one episode of that a year, I'll be happy. It's funny, but not really worth watching more frequently than that.

I also agree that Homsar needs to be used sparingly, not more often. He's one of my favorites for sure, and I think TBC could make a good one-off short with Homsar (not unlike Senor Mortgage), but a regular feature would get annoying and take all the fun out of a Homsar appearance. Randomness has to be tethered to be funny.

Most underused is Pom-Pom followed closely by the Poopsmith. Both of those guys are really due for a short of their own. When the KOT gets more screen time than you, it's time to get a new agent!

It's interesting, of 12 main characters 4 of them ( :cheat: :pom: :sm: :homsar: ) are basically unintelligible. And a couple of them( :kot: :marzi: ) never have anything interesting to say. Eh, maybe that's why it's funny.

Dont forget about the Poopsmith! And Strong Mad and Homsar aren't really that unintelligible, they're just... well unintelligent. :P The two of them are pretty funny. I'd love to see a short with just Strong Mad and Homsar. The Odd Couple.

:sm: WHO ARE YOU!!!
:homsar: I licked the bubble wrap.
:sm: THAT WAS DUMB!!!!!
:homsar: Why thank you, and also with you.
:sm: AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!
<Strong Mad extends his arms and starts chasing Homsar>
:homsar: bidibidibidibidi (walking sound)

Ok I know that kinda sucked. Its 3:45 AM here and I can't think past 10 PM. Make your own. But it could make a nice short.

Doh! <Slaps forehead> The funny thing is, when I originally made that list I included the Poopsmith. But when I decided to use the emoticons I substituted Strong Mad for ol' Poopy on accident. <slaps forehead again> Someone's got to get us a Poopsmith smilie.

So it's five characters then. Maybe unintelligible isn't the right word, but you know what I mean. 5 characters who can't supply direct narration in a story. That's a pretty heavy lourde, there. :coachz: Almost half of the main cast list. And if you look at it, 4 of those (minus The Cheat) are frequently sighted as underused characters. Very interesting...

:pom: is the most underused character. All he's in is...

Where's the Cheat?
All Halloween Cartoons.
Probably 3 or 4 SB emails.
And a few I can't really name right now.

Oh, he's in more than that. If the Wiki were up, I'd direct you to his filmography. As it is, I'll have to do a list:

The Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon
Where's The Cheat?
The Luau
A Jorb Well Done
The Reddest Radish
In Search of the Yello Dello
The King of Town
Theme Song Video
3 Times Halloween Funjob
A Decemberween Pageant
Pumpkin Carve-nival
The Best Decemberween Ever
The House that Gave Sucky Treats
A Mother's Day Message
A Holiday Greeting
Homestarloween Party
12 SBEmails
3 Answering Machines

But I'll agree: he isn't used as much as he could be.

I'd like to see more of Gavin! That little roach is sooooooo cute! He's got a brief moment in Experimental Film, but I think he has potential.

I also would really love to see more of cow copter, he's really cute, too! :copter:

:hr: - of course we see enough of him. He's the -star-.
:cheat: - xD He's fine, but he shows up a lot in the e-mails a lot.
:sb: - not overused. At all.
:sm: - xD He's spiffy. He's not very underused, though.
 - I'd like to see more of him. Reminds me of myself when I was little...the sad little child in the corner.
:marzi: - Yeah, she needs to come up more. Since she's the only girl...more girl characters, TBC!
:pom: - YES. Make him show up. Now.
:bubs: - Yeah, Coach Z and him are always up to something, and there should be a prank of the week where they pull something on one of the other characters...
:coachz: - He's cool! His accent is schmexay. xDD
:kot: - Underused character! I wanna see more KoT.
:homsar: - He should show up in mostly easter eggs and things or it'll get boring...
:goblin: - Holiday character, right? Yeah...he's got a cute little dance.
:trogdor: - Trogdooooooooor! Trogdoooooooooooor! Yeah, he needs his own character video xD
:20x6: - I wanna see more anime versions of characters...they could have more episodes.
:ehsteve: - can you say 'spiffy'? He's awesome...and random.
Poopsmith - I wish I knew why he's taken a vow of silence.

:pom: :bubs: :goblin: :ehsteve: and Stinkoman should all be used more. I like japanese cartoons, and I think Stinkoman is hilarious. There'z a fanfic about it on fanfiction.net... I don't think it's up right now, but you should go look for it.

It's because there just wasn't a voice that would fit him.

On Marzipan: I just have to love a character who carries a sign saying "Chinchillas Out (Of My Basement)". :marzi: She's got spunk. Another female character wouldn't hurt, though I'm not sure I want any new main characters. If they do make a new female character, I want her to have risen spontanously, like ol' Homsar :homsar: . I don't want a character made just to be female.

Holy necromancy, Batman! Just a friendly note, try not to revive threads that are over a year old. The mods get angry.

By now, there's no question. It's :pom: and :poop: who are underused.

I'd like to see the Sweet Cuppin' Cakes a bit more. I'd also like to say the 20X6 characters in a regular toon rather than just a game.

Homeschool winner has definetly been underused.

Hes only been shown in TWO toons.

People say that TBC broke his voice tube thing.

Apparently in the sbemail dvd, they broke bubs voice tube aswell, but

they still use bubs in cartoons and he still talks!

They must have fixed it.

Why cant they fix homeschool winner's voice tube?

When we finally get the answer, I bet they will use another of their

lame "It will be jumping the shark" excuses!

I hope you know that that whole "voice tube" thing was a joke.

I think that they might bring Homeschool back in an Easter Egg someday.

I never understand why everyone want more Pom Pom. He has very little of a pesonality and just ends up being the straight man in the humor and I just don't wantto see that.

We need more Strong Mad. He's alot like homsar with classic one liners which are awesome.

"I WIN" -from cheatday
"I DON'T WANT TO EAT A GUITAR"- from haircut
"I HAVE A FUNNY HAT"- Pay per view

Just to name a few
:sm:

He's not always a straight man. He's good with props and severe beatings. I'm just suprised he's not always mackin' on Marzipan.
But anyways, on topic, I'm gonna have to say that we need more of the Thnikkaman. And more random Homsar appearances. The thing with :homsar: is that if he had his own cartoon, at least half the humor would not be there. Homsar's specialty is popping up when least expected.
