Is Marzipan still Homestar's girlfriend?
Yes. That break-up in Halloween II wasn't serious, and neither was the answering machine. 49%  49%  [ 22 ]

Way back when, during that Halloween thing, that was Strong Bad as Homestar anyhow. So it doesn't really even apply.

Besides, who else would Marzipan go out with? Pom Pom's already taken, and everyone else is either a jerk (Strong Bad), kinda creepy around her (Coach Z), an old man (the King of Town), an animal (The Cheat), or just plain otherwise unfit to go out with. Maybe Kevin?

As it's never brought up beyond that very early character page, it's debatable as to whether TBC have dropped the idea or not, but there's a thread about this, I do believe.

Well, then again, there's the "Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon" scene where Marzipan asks Homstar what he's going to do to protect her now that crime is on the rise. That's always an indication of a relationship.

I think that she was not being serious when she said that to Homestar. Regarding The KOT, I think that The Chaps just scrapped the idea because it was to cliche'd.

But that page also makes the claim that Coach Z is not a proper coach; later toons made it quite clear that he is.

On the other hand, I don't think there's any reason to assume that Marzipan isn't the KoT's daughter - until we get some clear evidence to the contrary, I think we can trust that character page.

Actaully, if you don't know, then you were supposed to say the "I don't know anymore" option. The "I'm not even touching this one" option was for people who didn't want to say anything out of turn.


meh....sorry then..I figured the "I'm not gonna touch this one" was for people who didn't really want to say yes or no..or to start an argument. but i'm still pretty sure that they are together..

:marzi: obviously got back together with :hr: after she found out it was really :sb: who gave her pumpkin last place. They never have and probably never will break up for good. All those times they did couldn't have been serious.
