Outside of the core cast of Homestar Runner (Homestar, Marzipan, Pom-Pom the Brothers Strong, The Cheat, Coach Z, Bubs, the King of Town, the Poopsmith, and Homsar), who is your favorite character?

Marshie is amusing as a parody of obnoxious "so-bad-they're-funny" mascots, who always annoy me.

I also like the random ramblings of Senor Cardgage ("Gambol around the camp fire, children. It's Senor Cardgage with that Seniorial Day tent... thing that guy talked about.")

And who can forget: :trogdor: TROGDOR! :trogdor:

Probably Senor Cardgage. He's great, man. Just great.

But the oridinary Senor is also terrific. "Oh no! I haveen a little trouble!"

If he counts? BLUE LASER COMMANDER. Seriously, he's the best. Pretty much everything he says cracks me up. FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC!!

If alternate universe people like that don't count, though, then... um... the Grape Fairie? He was pretty awesome, even if he was only in one toon... oh, and Senor. For some reason, I find him adorable. Awww. ^^

Cardgage, totally.

Yeah, I got nothing to add to that.

Favorite MINOR character eh? Oooh... that's a toughy. HOW CAN YOU MAKE US CHOOOOOSE?!

After watching several toons and scanning through H*R Wiki's list of Secondary Characters, I threw this together. Here's Beaums' favorite minor characters!

First off, I think it's safe to say that I like ALL the Mascots. I'm talking about Marshie, Nibbles, Tragic Clown Dog, The Jolly Dumple, Stoppy the Sign and MORE! Their costumes are all hilarious, and they always have the most obscure, goofy things to say.

When it comes to inanimate objects in Free Country USA, I gotta love the cute couple consisting of Frank and Mrs. Bennedetto. Their connection with Homestar Runner is so tragically hilarious, and that Frank is such a trooper! Oh, and you gotta love Biscuit Dough Hands Man. He's got a big ol' egg head!

Possibly the strongest and most fierce pseudocharacter in Strong Badia, the Bear holding a Shark, is another one of my favorites. He's so majestic and mysterious, and he's all the times keeping Strong Badia safe from nosey The Cheats.

From the world of Dangeresque, I also have some favs. The Cheat makes the perfect Istanbul. I mean, his precision and timing illustrates the grand country so beautifully. Strong Sad also delivers as that reluctant passerby, Hot Tub. He doesn't even want to star in the movie, yet he acts so well! Renaldo and Killingyouguy are also FAB-U-LOUS!

When Strong Bad takes control of Strong Sad's mind, yet another favorite character is born, The Deathly Pallor. He's got the spirit, and that "in-your-face" attitude!

When it comes to Teen Girl Squad, there's more to the show than just the squad. The Arrow'd Guy is always there to finish of characters in their prime moments. Plus, he's always wielding a new weapon, and he's always in a new persona! Thomas is an out-of-this-world character with some sick skateboarding skills, and a steady baseball bat swing! And of course, you can't forget Tompkins. He's rejected by society and angry at the world around him, but he never gives up! He's always there to fight back! Aww peas!

Finally, there's three secondary characters that really stick out in my mind. First, The Thnikkaman. He's got cool shades, a group of singers to announce his actions, and he don't take no guff from no one! Can you have some! Of course not! So shut up kid!

Secondly, Reynold from the Cheat Commandos. He isn't really classified as a commando, but that doesn't get him down! He'll just keep on struggling to make it as another one of the guys. He's nerdy, he's weak, he can't cuss a swear, but he's everyone’s guilty pleasure. Plus, he's got that neato apartment play set!

Finally, The Wheelchair. Voiced by the always talented Bubs, The Wheelchair is first in my badly drawn heart. Eh! Steve is always getting on his case, but The Wheelchair always comes out on top. With dreams of becoming a real boy and lightning fast speed, The Wheelchair rocks hard core.

And that's it for Beaums. Oh wait... I also like The Denzel, Doreauxgard, Balding Man, The Moon, Mr. Shmallow, 1-Up, Dr. Christmas/Cornbread, Made-Up Strong Bad Animals, Stiny, Mrs. Commanderson, Gunhaver, Blue Laser Babies, Mitch Overlord, Li'l Brudder and of course... Powered By the Cheat Homestar.

Dang... I like WAY too many minor characters... Hm, I guess the three main ones I mentioned are my final answer. This is just as of now though. My favorites in Homestar Runner usually vary from time to time.

Roughly 10 minutes. Looking back now, I kind of regret it. Oye... that's what a lazy Friday night will do to you! :p

I appreciate your insights, Beaums, but perhaps you might have too much time on your hands? :p

Anyway, I'm an anime fan, so I also like Stinkoman. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you asking for a challenge?!"

I see Senor Cardgage is quite popular. "You're every welcome, Valerie."

Owwwww... my pride.

It's cool though. To be honest, I DID have too much time on my hands last night. There was nothing going on really, so I jumped at this opportunity to let my literary diarrhea flow! Plus, I can think of a lot of minor characters I enjoy. They all just kind of came to mind as I was typing.

Maybe I'll post here again sometime with a shorter answer. ;)

Um... 1-Up. He's adorable.

And also Whats Her Face. She's like me, if I was vegan and always getting killed.

Saddy Dumpington, hands down. I actually considered using "Isn't that great?" for my username at the Wiki...

The Teen Girl Squad are also pretty cool. I liked it in the one with that tiny warrior in it. Which episode was that?

The whatever is no place for a mighty warrior. That was pretty cool.

Did anybody see the bear-shark sketch on SNL? It's clearly either a rip-off or a homage to the Bear Holding a Shark.

If Trogdor counts, then definitely him. That wing-a-ling dragon is one of H*R's main attractions! :trogdor:

I like a lot of the Pseudocharacters, my favorites are Frank Bennedetto, the Stick, the Santaman, and the Swiss Cake Rolls. I'm not really a fan of :senor: , I think of him much like Strong Sad does: extremely sketchy and creepy.

Senor Cardgage IS extremely creepy and sketchy, but that's kind of what makes him funny. He's so shady it's hilarious.

Well, I think the Annoying Whiner bird from Thy Dungeonman 3 is one of my favorite minor characters. I suggest including that bird in a possible Homestar Runner movie so he can be less annoying and less ugly.

You can view the picture here:

In that case, every forum needs a Whiner Bird. :P

Or not.
