ATTN: LOWER BOARD USERS HAVE MOVED TO ANOTHER FORUM. COME JOIN THE FUN!

I don't recognise a lot of them. Some of them, like Coach Z's Flava Flav or The Cheat's Toad, make me think "Oh! It's...that person!" and I still have to look up what they're actually called. Strong Sad is the one I recognise the most - I think the only one of his I couldn't get just by looking was the David Byrne one. Meanwhile, I don't think I've ever recognised anyone Bubs has been. Everyone else:

Homestar: slightly recognised Kurt Cobain and Angus Young (is that what he's called? The AC/DC lead singer?)

Strong Bad: you've got to love the Carmen Miranda drag, and he's just a natural Joker somehow. Oh, and his Homestar-as-Angus-Young costume

Strong Mad: he makes a lovely sheet-ghost. I sort of slightly recognised Gossammer, but not enough to remember where from or the name.

The Cheat: As I say, I recognised Toad very slightly ("the one from that Mario game") and Garfield. But no others.

Coach Z: "It's that guy that wears a clock!" Also, Tupac. I'm not big on rappers, alas.

Marzipan: In drag as Beaker and not in drag as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez.

Pom-Pom: The Stay-Puft Marshmallow man and the Kool-Aid jug. But I only recognised the Kool-Aid because I'd seen it on the net a bit.

The KOT: Hagar the Horrible, the Hamburglar (although not really until he said he was dressed to Hamburgle, so that might not count), Mario and Colonel Sanders. Actually, the KOT ties with Strong Sad there, I think. Gosh.

The Poopsmith: Liono and M. Bison.

Homsar: I slightly recognised Wimpy as "that guy from Popeye", but his Slash is the most recogniseable. Then again, he did have "slash" written on his front, so...

I'm okay at recognising characters, I guess.

I've recognized the KOT as Mario, the Hamburglar and Colonel Sanders*, The Cheat as Toad, Strong Mad as a ghost, Pom Pom as the Kool-Aid Man, Homsar as Tingle, and Marzipan as Beaker * )* meaning I recognized them, but didn't know their actual names). That's about one per toon, so I'm not very good at recognizing them. Even when I look at the wiki to see who they are, I don't recognize the names.

Really? Strong Sad's costumes are usually the first I recognize. That's not creepy... IS IT?!

OK, for the three thousandth time, we don't mind if people use them, it just gets annoying when people overuse them. That's what we mean. When people just use the emoticons instead of typing out the name, it tends to get a wee bit annoying.
