Ramrod's usually as liberal as I am (or even more so) so I was kind of surprised that he wanted to do away with it.

I've been trying to be to nice to some of you people, and I've let people slide with too much stuff here. We haven't been doing our jobs as mods and admins to the best of our abilities. I'm not striving for this forum to be like it was, because that's impossible. We can't keep living in the past, wishing things like they were. We have to realize that times change, and we need to embrace those changes.

Oh, and when I was talking about the spam issue, this counts as spam. Spam for me is anything that doesn't relate to the topic at hand. You wanted to ask me this? then send me a pm. From now on, in this thread, we are talking about spam, it's definitions, and solutions for reducing it.

Listen, I hear people talk about how they wanted a more "Seethroo style admin style". I'm doing just that. And now apparently I have a stick up my bum. I am an admin. I, along with the mods and admins enforce and interpret the rules to the best of our abilities. I'm getting sick of the drama and spam going on in here. Consider this a warning. The next person who tries to start up crap or spams in this thread will get a ban. No exceptions. Not even mods.

And ... I could be more eloquent on the subject, but I think I've said most of what I've wanted to say before. Believe me - the complaining will drive off newer users more then internet humor will. PMs are gold.
... and if I'm going to get my hand slapped everytime I engage in funny conversation with people in a 'forbidden thread', it will get very sad very fast. It would be nice to just have our conversation moved to a different thread rather then locking/yelling at us.
At least, that's what I would do if I were mod. Cut, splice, move, happy times. X-(

Ram, if you were really listening to the majority, I think that lahi would be gone and you would be lax.

I'm not saying banning lahi is a good idea, but whoever you're listening to is not the majority.
