If i dont know what im looking for or if im just reading through a topic, I would like to be able to skip a page or enter a # to select which page I am to go to!

I've asked this on other forums and I've happy (almost delioursly so) to find it on some, especially when posts can range in the 100-(good God)400 pages...

I asked something like this a long time ago, and the admins said that we'd have to find a mod for it first before it went through. From what I could find, there were no phpBB mods that are like this, though I haven't checked for awhile now.

thank you, duly noted, ill never bring it up again, unless i have one of the admins under gunpoint.. but sinc ei dont own a gun and i wouldnt do that anyways then its possible that i will never return to mark my trail in this part again.

I remember IJ making one that he just had to put the finishing touches on.....I can't find that thread though. But yeah...there is a prototype in existence that Jones made, but I don't know if he actually released it.

He did, but it doesn't work anymore on the newer version of Greasemonkey.

EDIT: I quick whipped together a script that did sort of the same thing as his but with uglier code: Right click here and click 'Install User Script...' to try it out (if you have Greasemonkey installed).

Hm. It doesn't work for me. The page just refreshes, but I'm not really in need of it anytime soon.
