I've noticed white borders in the emoticons. Could you take them out cause they can be annoying?

Either someone has already fixed it, or I just can't see it. Could you be a little more specific as to which emoticon(s) has the problem (that way I don't need to load each one into an image editor).

Edit: nm, I see what you are talking about. The problem isn't the images, it's the way your browser is handling them. I suspect you are using IE. Check out FireFox. Things look great over here (heck, it's even more secure :))

png files have something called alpha transparency. Up to date browsers support this. Ones that aren't so up to date don't. IE falls into the category of not so up to date.

Tell your boss/it people about "how concerned you are" with internet security, and how you only want to do what's best for the company. :) YOu ahve just heard so many bad things about Internet Exploder, and want to help out (in making their jobs easier).

The emotes are being updated as 8-bit PNGs without alpha transparency. This should make them work exactly like GIFs. Keep your pants on.
