I have no idea what would be involved in creating a Mycroft plugin for the Wiki, but it sure would be cool to have. |

Hm... I'll look into that, but it's easier to create a keyword search. |

Fabulous! That's nifty, and anyone for whom that takes too long has crossed the line. |

So, I've built a plugin, but I have one question. Should the Mycroft plugin do a "Go" or a "Search"? Meaning, should it try to go straight to a page if you type the name of a page? Or should it always give you a list of all pages containing your search terms? I'm leaning toward "Search", but I love "Go". I'm torn. Let me know what you think. EDIT: I decided I should create two Mycroft plugins so people can pick their poison: Homestar Runner Wiki Go Homestar Runner Wiki Search Just unzip these to your "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins" folder and restart Firefox. Sorry, I'm too lazy to figure out the default folder if you're using Firefox on Linux or Mac OS (or, for that matter, if you aren't using Firefox at all). I trust if you use Mycroft plugins you'll probably know (or be able to figure out) where to install them on whichever browser/operating system you use. |
