Since ed and I seem to be the only modmins responding to this, I'll bring this up in the mod board and see what they say.

I demand an Oekaki sub forum for no reason!

See, I think a Doodle Chat type thing would do really well here. I don't want to seem like I'm ripping off the fanboys forum, though.

We don't need a sports subform. We have four sports topics at best. Baseball, Hockey, Football, Basketball. And I guess if you also count "sports entertainment", the WWE thread. Though it distresses me that the Basketball thread is a hive of March Madness crap. I hate college ball. Though I digress.

^And the Hockey thread is dead most of the time. We cover Sports good enough, along with Video Games. If you want to make a thread about some obscure 1993 game, then do it anyways.

All the TV topics would end up being one page unless it's House or Heroes or Lost or some other nerd love show.

What if we had a general games thread?

Sports are games, methinks…

Well, it's been over for a while now... but what's not to like about college ball?

But our sports threads die out.

It's the most overrated thing in the world. OHOHOHO BOY BETTER GET UR BRACKETZ READY!!!! Shut up. It's hockey playoffs time. PRO basketball is winding down. Hell, even baseball is going to start up. Basketball is my least favorite of the Big Four sports, and I just generally don't like college sports. So you can see why combining the two makes me frustrated.

I'll probably care more whenever I go to college but right now I see no point in following it.

The NBA playoffs are much more boring, in my opinion. First, they have to start with more than half of the league (16 of 30 teams), which means that there are usually some losing record teams in... then, they do all 7-game series, which takes long when basketball only plays about every other night. I understand they want it to be big and long for the TV ratings, but by this time of year, I'm way more interested in baseball. In mid-March, I have nothing better to do than fill out a bracket and enter a contest with friends. By late June, I've completely forgotten about basketball...
There are also some ways I like the game of college basketball more than the NBA, but that isn't totally exactly what this topic is about. Just my $.02.

How'd this get turned into Basketball?

Quite frankly, as i mentioned on the mod board, I do like the idea of a vidja games forum. But I'm probably the only admin for it. That, and some of the problems that you all have mentioned.

I say that, if enough people are for it, we should split them. No innocent people will die as a direct result.

I say split them.

I support this motion.

In fact can we get a subforum for each of his individual albums?

I request a sub-forum where only I can post and where I can rant and rave about everything and everyone would be forced to read!!!

Or a sandwich, whichever comes first.

A subforum where we post an image of every single Calvin & Hobbes comic ever made in individual topics. All topics are locked, and only level 32s or higher can enter the zone.
