I think rule 4 and rule 5 need to be enforced, As for large images, I think the only thing that could really be excluded would be anything awesome.
Share your thoughts.

4. No headaches. Try to use proper spelling and grammar - don't overuse 1337, cHaNgInG cApS, smileys and the BB codeS. In addition, do not post anything that is unnecessarily large, such as excessive quote pyramids (quotes nested inside others) or enormous pictures.

5. Use your common sense!

The portion of Rule 4 that talks about quote pyramids should be removed, since it's impossible to create a potentially damaging quote pyramid in phpBB3 (the maximum number of quotes you can have nested within each other is 3).

As for the "enormous image" portion, I'm sure that there's some phpBB MOD out there that can make it so images posted on the Forum above a certain size (say, 600x600) are automatically converted to a clickable thumbnail version of the image. I know the IGN Boards have a system like this, but then again, they don't use phpBB as their software.

And from what I've seen, most Forum users have appeared to use their common sense regularly.

My thoughts: What's the problem? Is there even a problem? If so, why aren't you PM'ing the mods about it instead of making a public post about it? Since this isn't a democracy, what's the point of involving other users? Are you lahi? Why is the sky blue? I want to go to bed.

I think this is a poor joke

Eh, even if it is new threads like this usually at the least bring it to *all* of our attentions, as opposed to a singular pm that can be ignored or unnoticed for large amounts of time.

... *eyeball* What's the point of being a mod if you're going to ignore/unnotice PMs?

Not to mention, if I had a beef, I'd PM all the mods/admins, it's a simple matter of adding them onto the PM. It's not hard. I'm just saying bringing this stuff up in public just leads to pointless speculation.

I cannot see either of these as being big problems our forum is currently dealing with.

Coleslaw, a good portion of your posts are ginormous pictures.

These really don't seem to be a problem.

I believe many of our fellow users here have plenty of common sense.

And by plenty, I mean enough to survive and function normally in society.

It's not that I ignore them, per say. It's just that I tend to not notice the alert up at the top when it's there for a couple of days >.>

Nor can anyone else, it seems.

I think this thread has served it's purpose (whatever that purpose might have been)
