Which do you think is most workable?

Problem comes when all activity moves to that thread, as has always ended up happening in the past, so that you have to read it to be an informed member of this community.

If you don't read RT, you don't know what's going on. People end up just posting in that thread and that's it. You don't know anything if you don't read it.
