Bring back getting to know you. It would give this forum a sense of friendship and community, without adding the drama of random thoughts and R&P.

Yes, the main part of this site is to discuss homestar and the wiki, but having GTKY might help us to understand each other, and keep us returning to this site each week, and will be a nice distraction. I just say this since I've noticed in the past 2 years that this site attracts some of the most interesting users on the internet. Everything from an early-20s guy in a dress from new york, to a 15-year old pinhead from Chicago. Also, I've noticed that the friendships created on this forum were some of the strongest and most interesting I've ever seen. There is even an unconfirmed story that one user talked another out of suicide once. Sometimes all we need are total strangers to be our friends, and I think we can all be there for each other.

P.S., I love the colors.

In the meantime, thanks for the reboot. It has rekindled my interest in homestar. I must admit, I spend more time lurking than anything else .

The GTKY stuff is a good part of any forum. The forum my wife frequents is all about some community building.
If it's done right, I think we could/should do that too. It's good to see that It's Dot Com is coming around. By "done right", I mean that we shouldn't let it distract from the primary point of the forum.
