I think it would be nice if we had one of those post-ranking systems. It doesn't have to be put in anytime soon, but it would be nice. The post number names could be like: 0-50: The Worm 50-100: Lil' Brudder 100-250: Mr. Bland 250-500: Deletehead 500-1000: Friend of the Brothers Strong 1000-2500: Homestar Helper 2500-5000: Email Accomplice 5000-10000:The 3rd Brother Chap 10000+: TROGDOOOOOOOOR! What'cha think? |

I'm sorry to say this but it just wouldn't work. There was an old forum I went to that had something like this. It did encourage people to post, but it mainly encouraged people to spam. I remember this one dude who made a thread called "Just raising my post count" and posted all kinds of random stuff. The reason I like this forum better than any other forum I've ever been a part of is 'cause nobody cares about post count so nobody has any reason to spam. |

Wow, I never really thought of that... All the forums I've been to with that feature have been fine! I s'pose it's all down to the mods though! |

Yeah... no. Cz'sc has the reason... I've been on a few forums which have had ranks based on postcount, and without exception, they've either (a) been completely ignored by everyone, and thus pointless, or (b) encouraged quite a few people to go on mass-posting sprees simply to get up to the next rank. Mostly the latter. |
