The Gender Hack sounds like a good idea after reading posts like this. So for a male, under their avatar you'll see "Gender: |

But which genders does it give as options? I would hate to leave anybody out. (No, I am not kidding.) |

Hmm. They give you an option of "Male", "Female" or "Not specify". You can always add more choices if you wanted to, and you could even make the other gender images so no one gets left out. |

I think custom title, av/sig disable, calendar, and spellchecka would be cool. |

There's a "Memberlist Find User" mod which lets you search the memberlist. With a member list as extensive as we have, it may be useful! |

Hmm...interesting. I'll bring this up with the ModZorz. |

What!? We obviously already use a MySQL database. Why are you linking to it? Your post qualifies as spam and annoys me. |

What the crap? The link must have changed since I posted it. It was actually pointing to a mod that showed simple dates - "Today" instead of "February 27, 2005" for example. Here's a copy of what I meant to point to. |

I'll bring this up with the ModZorz. So I guess that mod isn't happening. Darn. Just do what I do! Go to "http://forum.hrwiki.org/search.php?search_author=insert username here" to get to a user's post list. Then just click their name on the left column. Much quicker than navigating the memberlist. |

Yeah, now that I think of it, that is a good way to get it done. Thanks! Are the admins (e.g. JoeyDay) still even considering MODs? Is this thread dead and we just don't know it yet? |

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.ph ... nks+window http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.ph ... nks+window It gets kind of annoying when links to other topics/posts on this same forum open in new windows every time, so I thought one of these mods would be helpful. |

I think instead of a fairly disorganized banner, avatar & sprite thread, we should have a forum just for individual artists (e.g. Simon Zeno, t0_t3h_m00n) to have their own "shops" (The Spritesmith's Foundry, pockyMart). Only about half the requests in the Banner & Avatar Force are actually fulfilled, & there seems to be some bias in there. The whole thread is disorganized; that's why T-Smash left in April. T=Smash wrote: I'm quitting the force. It's too disorganized, and for some other reasons which I will not disclose to the public. Besides, he too wanted a sub-forum just for this. Go figure! T-Smash wrote: And may I ask that we get no more requests for a while? Seethroo (hopefully) is in the process of creating a new sub-forum just for this, so it will be more organized. But, we will still do everyone's requests that have already been requested.
I have my own "picture shop" in the HSR Forum, & things are working jst fine. Then again, I only have 1 "customer". |

With Firefox, you can set it so that things that usually open in new windows just open in new tabs. |

definately, there needs to be a "quick reply" feature at the bottom of the topic interface. it makes replying much easier. observe coldplaying's forum if you need an example. it's quite simple, and it makes for good hustle and bustle. |

There sure are some good ideas here. I like the gender mod, is there a chance that this ever will be used? (or maybe things like a country flag) |

How about you make a yellow flag for people on watch so you know who to put on your watchlist?

This is not the place to ask. Check over at the phpBBforFree site for their policies on installing mods. |
