Is there a rule against quoting posts that have huge images or large amounts of text? If not, there should be a rule. I hate having to scroll down through posts that have huge images or long texts. If you do quote them, they should be removed from the quoted message.

Example: http://forum.hrwiki.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15638
People kept on quoting the pictures in this thread.

In general, you're right. I never quote a post if it's the one right above mine. When I do quote, I only get as much as I need to make my point.

The situation you point to is a little trickier. The original image, while on the large side, wasn't enormous, or at least it didn't seem so at first. Only after it was quoted a bunch of times did it become a problem. Part of it could have been solved by people not quoting the post immediately above theirs, but that wouldn't have worked in all cases.

We'll continue to assess the situation in the future.

Yeah, I was kind of doing that as a joke. I won't do it next time.

I don't think it's you in particular, Monkeytender.
