Something has to be done to stop the spammers. Me not being an admin, I have no control over this. When I joined back in 2011, there was occasional spam, but now, every day, there is either a few real posts and hordes of spam, or just spam entirely. They're also learning to blend in... Please, someone SOS (Save Our Site)

I hear ya man. It really stinks having to watch on the sidelines while these spammers defoul the forums. I wish I was a admin because I go on this site whenever I'm bored (which is almost all the time). These spammers must be stopped! This ends HERE! Sorry about that geek outbrake. Pizza. |

To that end, I've temporarily locked the Store section until a permanent solution is found. Because, really, deleting five pages from a single section each day was getting a little ridiculous. |

The sooner you have to have to answer a series related question to join, the sooner the spammers will dissipate. When I joined the Yugioh Abridged forums, I had to write down Kaiba's frequently used fandub oneliner just to join. If I hadn't watched the show, & spammers never do, I would have had absolutely no access to the forums. You could temporarily disable any new people from joining at all, but point that out some legitimate fans will know to come back in a month. |
