I think I would make a GREAT mod. But you know, If an admin/Mod hates me and doesnt want me to be a mod, Thats cool. But, I am on 24/7 exept on school days and holidays. Literally. So, If i come across spam in those 24 hours I am on, I would lock it. But hey, I guess if I suck, I admins think I wouldn't make a good mod, Thats cool.

And Im not begging " PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAn i be A MOD!?!?!?!?!? " like that. No. I am just saying why I would make a good mod. I don't care if I become one, because some people hate me, Yaknow. I actually would like to be a mod, Buts its cool if I don't become one. I understand why ( No I don't. ).

There is my post.

I think most of us would be good mods anyway. All of us. Except spammers, who usually get banned.

I think another admin might be a good idea, perhaps one that can be on during the day. I also think that the moderator group would be a great idea, as they could then lock threads in any forum.

If the forum continues to grow as it has been, I can see another mod being added to the crew within a couple months.

My two... shekels.

That looks like it would be a real problem, though. Pretty much all of the users have either work or school during the day.

The opinion I've been taking with this whole issue is that we're fine for now. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

It is now ;)

I still think a mod team would be good, that way if someone was trollign oen board, any mod on at the time could lock the threads. It'd be much more efficent?

Why was that a question? ;)

Anyways, I think there are enough Mods and Admins right now. If there was a huge spam jambury going on, then maybe a few temporary mods would be nice, but that isn't happening so no need for Temps.

I mean maybe one from Europe or something. In a totally different time zone.

Or, how about an emergency mod team? One that's given mod powers when a troll attack's going on?

Or maybe not. Now that I think about it, it'd take an admin to enact the mod powers, meaning he would have to be on in the day...

Bah. I guess it's fine how it is.

Hey guys. I'm bumping this because apparently we have a new admin. It's dot com just posted with the title "Forum Administrator" and he's under the "Admin Team" list.

Congrats, It's dot com. I hope you change your title to something creative!
He must be a friend of Joey or something, since Joey trusted him to edit his photos of the check from Matt Chapman (which contained some secret information).

If I'm not mistaken, it might be the same guy from the Wiki that I always see on the STUFF page. He seems like a really cool guy.

Well the mods can only...uh...moderate...in their own boards right? So what if you are, say, porplemontage, you're the only mod/admin online, and theres some guy majorly trolling/spamming up the General Discussion board.
He couldn't stop it because DG and Lunar Jesty are the only mods with control over that board, right? Shouldn't there be like an "Emergency Button," for mods so that they could gain temporary mod control over all boards?

Wouldn't it just make sense to give them control over all boards permanently?

Oh, so that's why he had his name written in red. When I checked, he wasn't in the Admin Team group yet though. Or maybe I was just blind for a while. But now he is there.

Congraturation muffin!

About the non US ones. I agree. Those guys are likely to be on here when all of us are asleep, so they could like, patrol or something...

Yeeeah... I just don't like the way it was put together. In my boring opinion, it should be at least "It's Dot Com", or summat.

But my two cents aren't worth a dime.

More mods usually means more corrupt mods, I hate the say it. The less mods the better. Once you start adding mods "for the sake of it", you end up adding people who are less than capable, but since there's popular it's hard to do anything about it.

I'll have to disagree with you there. The only way to become a mod is to be chosen by the admins. In order to be chosen you have to be a model poster. You have to set a good example for other users.

That really dosn't belong there...

But anyway, since Seethroo is more than likely going to quit, I think that once he does (if he does) there should be a new admin, but until then, there is really no need for it.

Well, It's dot com was already an admin on the wiki so this wasn't really just adding an admin, but I know what you mean. If you get too many administrators, the people who don't become admins feel way left out.

Yeah, it belongs in one of the funniest things ever.

Anyways, I know. We shouldn't have TOO many Mods and Admins...

I don't think Seethroo will quit, once he gets his life back in order, he will be back.
