I think that at the end of every year we should vote on the best and worst of homestarrunner.com. Some the catagories would be : Best short Best toon Best puppet stuff Best Tgs issue Best holiday toon Best Marzipan's answering machine Best  email
and Best overall thing on the site. What do you think? I mean best out of the whole website, not just of the updates of that year. |

Well,m we have teh HRWiki Forum awards, and those always go well, but every ocne in a while we have polls in the toons, emails, or fun polls sections about these, so I don't rreally think we need a yearly one, though i'd like it. |

I'll take a shot at organizing it. I'm OCD. 
But I think it should be for the ones put out the year it's being held. |

Why not make the HRawards in the Fall and in the Spring? Then we'll have an award ceramony every 3 months. It could be a hook for new users. |

... No. No no no no no. First off, the new users would simply be offended, as they wouldn't be nominated for a thing. Secondly, as nominations and voting (for each Awards) already take a month each, there's no way I'm spending eight months of the year on the Forum Awards. Sorry man, but I'm not even touching that 'un. |

I just thought since the other things there are biannual might as well make these biannual as well. But, I get your point (if you were to do this) it would take alot of time. |

If Teff has no objections, I'd be happy to help out with the next edition of the Wiki Forum Awards. I know MHG took over for awhile last time, and it seemed pretty cool. And personally, I don't think we need a whole official contest for the best things H*R put out. We could do a thread where everyone posts their favorite thing from the site, leave it open for a month, then count up the votes and lock it, but I don't think we need a whole send-PM's-to-people-to-vote thing. ^Two cents. |

I always like organizing things, but it seems you've already got three "sidekicks", Teff. 
But back on topic, I still think that with the polls we have that go off and on, we don't need an official H*R Awards. |

Actually, we were tlaking about the forum awards for that. And if we did end up ahving a H*R awards, they'd probably go like the Forum Awards, where you coudl nominate a category. |

Apart from the spelling, those would be okay ideas, I guess. Of course, I'm pretty sure by "Best new character" you mean someone like Sterrence. And me? One of Teff's sidekicks? More like, him and Jitka are my underlings.

Upon seeing this, I thought of the Fanstuff Wiki Awards. They just have like, three options you can vote on. And who orginazises the whole freakin thing? I think Jesty does. It shouldn't be that hard. |
