Please lock this thread (...and forgive me) if this subject has been brought up before, but is a forum shoutbox out of the question? We have the perfect community here for a shoutbox and I know many users would enjoy it. It would also be convenient for toastpaint discussions; they could be continued with the shoutbox. Thanks! :)

Oh, I see. Sorry.

Edit: InterruptorJones says the Gabbly is not affiliated with the Homestar Runner Wiki. Does that mean a shoutbox is still possible?

That's the official line because the mods and admins have no control over the Gabbly and shouldn't be held responsible for anything that happens there. It's where a lot of people here go to chat, tho, so feel free to use it.

Well, recent events have shown that, while we have no control over what happens there, we CAN hold people responsible for their actions there. In other words, Gabbly represents the Forum/Wiki. All y'alls need to behave. :-P

Well, that could still make a rut, because what if someone changes their name to someone else and acts up? Is there a way of knowing? Because that could not turn out so good... :p

Yes, but when someone confirms said behavior by calling others prudes and whatnot when they're asked to stop here, well, then you've got a case..

We don't want to police Gabbly. It's just that when we get 2 jillion PMs ever 2 jillion seconds asking us to make someone stop being a perv, well, we can't ignore that.
