I recently fixed up the sightings page (or "sitings" as my mind keeps trying to spell it), and deleted all the signatures from the posts that had them. Recently, a couple of people have gone back and added their names back in, or signed their name to an added post. What is the correct thing to do for this page?

Well, I think the emphasis is on what was seen, not who saw it. Therefore I'm inclined to say that signatures should not be there. Generally, we only sign comments.

The Kef is correct. The Wiki is all about spreading knowledge and not showing off. And if you want to show off, you've got a userspace for it.

I agree with Interruptor and Kef. It would really stink to have people stacking up sightings, and people would be going "I have 20 sightings and you have 6. You're a n00b", and rates of junk sightings would increase, and we'd need to have a STUS (Select The Usuable Sightings), and it would just be a headache. We already have 3 forms of holier-than-thouness (Post count, join date and user pages). Three's a crowd, IMO.

Um, dude? This matter was resolved, like, a million years ago. Leave dead topics alone.
