So, would you still be here? And it would be nice and spiffy if you posted why.

So, it's 2016. Assuming that the world hasn't perished from a nuclear winter or anything like that, the forum has thankfully stayed alive. Countless people have come and go, the technology has changed, and many other 2016-related things have taken place. Hypothetically, would you still be at the forum? I'm not talking about your hopes and dreams, just realistically. Although it's not too far into the future, think about it. With the pace of things these days, there aren't many ways this forum couldn't change.

As for me, yes, I would be. Assuming no big schism or anything like that, I would make all the effort I could to still be here.
Would you?

I voted depends, because you can never eally be sur,e but I'm leaning more towards no. I think 'll have moved to other things. No group I've been a part of on the internet has ever lasted very long for me; either i left or it fell apart. (Or I left and it fell apart a month or so later. Good timing on that one, I guess). This forum has been the longest lasting one, I think, but I don't think I'll be staying here that long.

I voted no because all good things must come to an end. Even if this place is still alive it wont be ares anymore, it will be the next generation of homestar fans. Thats just sadly how it is.

As I have said before, I will be the one to turn the lights out on this place.

No, plain and simple. I will be 26, and hopefully actually trying to something with my life and not be sitting at a Homestar Runner Forum.

No offence to people about this age.

Well, providing that H* is still around, and so is the Wiki, then I will be too. This place means a lot to me.

Sad to say that Homestar will most likely be long gone by then....

Or not. You never know.

But either way, me still being here in ten years is not a very likely occurrence. I'd probably still keep in touch with a lot of you guys, of course, but still... ten years.... I doubt anyone has actually been on and stayed on the Internet for ten whole years... I don't even think the Internet's been around for ten years.... Wait, no, it has. But nobody really knew or cared about the Internet back in '96, now did they? ;)

EDIT: I voted "Depends". They're really handy when you sometimes have "accidents"–

Wait, no! Wrong kind of Depends! No, I voted Depends anyway. Might, might not. I'm still leaning more toward "no", though, like Ju Ju Master.

I say Depends. The best answer I can give is "I hope so". I love this place so much, and I would hate to lose you guys. But you never know what's going to happen in ten years.

Now I'm getting all emotional. Dang it. I need something manly. Somebody talk about power tools! And sports! And Power tool sports!

At least, I hope, in 10 years, I'm not here.

Well, in 10 years, I'm going to be married and have a job, and maybe even kids. I probably won't be on any forum by that time. (Aside from my own, because I'm pursuing a career in music and I will have an artist forum sometime soon.)

I doubt it. Even on forums I was absolutely in love with and spent all my free time on didn't last ten years. There was one that I stayed on for three years, and that seemed like a really long time to me.

well, we'll see what happens. if the forum didn't shut down, the internet hasn't been destroyed, i didn't get run over by a semi-trailer driven by the incredible hulk, i forgot about the forum, i got banned, i have no time for the forum, Clan inherits it somehow, computers are outlawed, whatever happens.

Maybe I'll sort of come and go. Or maybe I'll be too poor to own a computer. yeah, that's likely.

I doubt it...

With school and jobs and everything, I won't have time.

I would probably try to check in every six months just for kicks.

If I could.
If it lasted that long, definitely.

I can see it now...

10 years is an incredibly long time. I'm gonna say "no" because I'll have probably finally saddled up and moved on by that time. I doubt that Homestar or the Wiki will last that long, anyway.

But I'll still keep in touch with some of you guys.

Depends. Will this be here in a decade? Will I be too busy? Will Homestar be over?!

...I'm hoping no on that last one. And the second one, too.

Eh, I'll probably be a pedo stalker by then, so I'd be at Myspace rather then the forum.
