The question is just, what's the highest number you can count to, I'm not talking about infinity, it has to be some specific number.
The highest number I can count to is nine hundred ninety-nine nonnillion, nine hundred ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred ninety nine

That number is 999,000,000,000,000,000,000,999,999, which you could easily count higher than (Since you've had numbers in the millions and billions place in the counting to get to the original number)

Pfff...a bigger feat is memorizing the digits of pi. How high can I potentially count? As high as there are named places. Would I spend my time physically counting that? Probably not...not by an interval of 1, at least. What's the highest I HAVE physically counted to before using an interval of 1? 1,000, when I was in 1st grade. Ah, those were the days.

I can count to Graham's number. I've done it. Like... fifty times.

I've counted as high as 74,000 once, we were in the car and I had absolutely nothing to do.

That list is innacurate. I have it memorized at about 25, and my math teacher knows about 40.

There is this huge banner outside his math room, and he had a contest to see who could memorize the most.

I once counted to a thousand before I found more interesting things to do when there was nothing to do.

The highest number I know of is, um, a googleplex? Or possibly Graham's number.

A googleplex would take many lifetimes just the write out.

Not really. It's just 1 followed by 1,000 0s, that's not too much.

Really? I was told that it had a google zeros.

(One Wikipedia later)

It does have a google zeros. Uh... I was right, and you were wrong, I'm gonna sing the I-was-right-song, so nya nya nya nya nya!

Or maybe I won't sing the I-was-right-song.

Or rather, a googol zeros. Google is a search engine. Googol is a number. Googleplex is the headquarters for said search engine. Googolplex is a really massive number.

I'm pretty sure it can be spelled either way.

No, I'm pretty sure "Google" came out of when the founders spelled it incorrectly.

Really? The book I read it in spelled it as google, and this was before Google went online. Maybe I just remember wrong. I haven't seen that book for a long time.

The book probably spelled it wrong too, then.

Yeah, you're right. For some reason I thought 10^10^100 was 10^1000.

But it's definitely spelled googol and googolplex (Despite Firefox's disagreements)

I get lost after the high high billions.

Googol = 100 zeros.
Googolplex = Googol zeros.

Googol (The word.) was invented by a little kid saying "Wow, that looks like a googol!"

I can count to recursion.

x= z+1

z= x

I can count to recursion too.

When I was little, I read a book that said that a million kids standing on each other's shoulders would reach higher than Mount Everest, a billion kids would reach higher than the moon, and a trillion kids would reach the closest approach of Saturn. Unfortunately they didn't get up to a quadrillion.
