i think real is better because it brings out the holiday spirit more.

The artificial ones just look so, artificial. They are a strange darker shade of green and they're just too full of branches to look real. The real ones are the best. You get to spend an entire day in the snow hunting, cutting down, and putting up the perfect tree for your living room (that is, if you live where I live, cause sometimes you get it from a parking lot). Plus, you don't have to assemble it. |

Well, we didn't have a Christmas tree this year, and it really sucked. We always go with real trees, and having the smell in the house really changes everything, and it's really the thing that switches me into Christmas mode. So, definitely real. Forever. Never going artificial. |

I have an artificial at my Dads, and we normally get a real one at my Mums. It's the smell that makes the rreal ones better, but artificial ones are so much easier, because they don't leave needles everywhere. But just this year at my Mums, because we've been selling our house and it was open for inspection, we could have a proper tree. So instead we made the best tree ever. We got one of our laps, hung loads of coathangers off poles attached to it, and then hung tinsel on that. It was a coathanger christmas tree, and it ruled! |
