Yes, and I did have to test with both hands before I answered >> A better question is, is the sound made from your fingers brushing each other or when your finger hits your palm? That'll drive you nuts figuring that out. |

It's from the finger hitting the palm. Try putting a piece of paper or something on your palm and then snapping. It will make a different sound. |

...Is it pathetic that I only just now realized that that is what makes the snapping sound? I always thought it was an air thing. |

I think it's weird how the sound is produced. It's basically just hitting your hand really hard with your finger. |

I can snap, very loudly. And I can whistle too. I learnt both these things from just constantly trying when I was a young-un, and then I suddenly could do it. I really want to learn how to do the really loud whistle that you do with your fingers, though. |
