I'm curious. Just as there are many names for carbonated beverages, so are there many ways to read OMG. :)

I read it as OH EM GEE.
And I say it as OH EM GEE too.

Ommagor.

Oh my God.
I thought that was how all normal people read it.

Whenever I see "OMG", it's usually said aloud in my head as "ohmyga!" Apparently the "d" at the end is unneeded.

Ohm-guh.

(Although I voted for Ah-mug.)

"Ohmigod" said really fast. But ZOMG is "zom-guh".

I think of it as "oh-em-gee." And, like Dark Grapefruit, I tend to pronounce ZOMG as "zom-guh."

We don't have any of those around here. :p

lessee.. I have weird context-specific readings. In my head, I hear "OMG" as both "oh em gee" and "oh my god" at the same time.. which sounds most like "ommaguh". "O... M... G.." or something similar is "OH.. EM... GEE...". "ZOMG" is like "zong" (nearly universal linguistic law: M and N are actually sounded as "NG" before the consonants G & K in quick & informal speech).

Voted Ah-mug because it's pretty close.

So do I. And my friend.

Good to know there are others.

Depends on how I'm reading. If I'm reading at a slower pace, it's always "Oh em gee!," and that's also how I say it out loud. But if I'm skimming, I tend to pronounce it in my head as "Oh-mig!" ZOMG, relatedly, is pronounced "Zoh-mig!"

I was always taught to not say "Oh my God," so I read it as "Oh my gosh."

I read "OMG" as "Oh, My God!", but without the comma. When there's no comma, the phrase can all just flow out of you like one long exclamation! OH MY GODD!!

To me, zomg sounds like zomj. I don't know why I think it has a soft g.

I don't really say "Oh, my god" I say "Omigod"

And zomg is "Zomigod"

I usually pronounce it 'Oh My God', unless I've been watching lots of "Kappa Mikey" beforehand.

That's kind of how I pronounce WTF/FTW.

WHAT TUH FIFF? FOR TUH WUH!

I voted Ah-mug. I kinda say it "AW-moog", with the "oo" being like the "oo" in "book". (See Anticartoon'd 2 for an example of this--it's kinda hard to explain.)

As for WTF, I generally say (and this is even more difficult to explain) WOO-t'f. Again, with the "oo" being like the "oo" in "book". And the "t'f" is like "toof", but...slurred, I guess? Shortened. And LOL is, of course, "lawl".

Yeah. Mandy explained my WTF somewhat better than me, though the "What?" still kind of comes out partially.
