This started on me on MSN asking people as a statistical poll, but Einoo gave me the idea to post it. So, do you hate your middle name?

This is only a Yes/no poll, there is no "middle" or "other" option, sorry. :p

I dislike my middle name, but only because people get it confused with the letter "D." If my parents had given me the middle name Deedee--well, it would sound much sillier, but I wouldn't have to explain to people that "Dee" is my middle name, not my middle initial. If people didn't use initials for middle names so much, I wouldn't mind it either. I have nothing against the name Dee itself, actually, just its placement.

I don't have a middle name. That's what I hate about it. I do go by "Ace" when I'm pretending to be a WW1 fighter pilot though, so I adopted it as a middle name. Too bad it's not official, or I would vote no.

no, I like it. It's a weird name - Carvin - 'cause it's my mom's maiden name, but it's cool because it's also the name of a guitar company. Since I play guitar, it fits pretty well (Though I don't play one made by Carvin)

My middle name is Raymond, and no one can hate a name like that! Everyone shortens it to Ray though... and I was actually named after the famous guitar player, Stevie Ray Vaughn! So no, I don't hate my middle name.

I don't exactly hate my middle name, but I don't like it, either. I like "Francis" because St. Francis was pretty awesome and it's an honor to be named after him, but there's also the "FRAAAAANCIIIIS" factor (the way it sounds), and how only annoying dweebs are named Francis in movies and TV.

Anywho, when I get around to changing my name, it's gonna end up gone with the rest of it, so I said yes.

I'll tell you my middle name, but not any of my other names. It's Maurice. I've never really used it for anything...at all. Maurice doesn't even suit me. I don't know what to answer, becuase I don't hate it... I don't really like it either... And I just pretend it's not there, as I never really need it.

My parents were thinking about having my name Philip, and making my middle name my current first name. I thank them that they did not, as that would make my initials PIG. And mixing that with the fact people call me fat, would not have been good.

Ehhh, my poll didn't work out so well, so far at least.

Because typically, the people I encounter dislike their middle name, but when they ask other people they say "No, that's a good middle name!" So I was thinking, is it just the person who has the middle name dislike it? Guess I was wrong.

Maybe it's just people in Connecticut... :p

Oh, and I dislike my middle name highly. Edward. Ugh...
