I prefer supple paperback myself (takes up less space in my backpack), but sitting down with a good solid hardcover title on a cold night is a pretty awesome thing to do. |

Theoretically it's also supposed to go up and down, too, but you see a lot more sideways-written Japanese nowadays. |

I hold my book in both hands, usually, or if I'm sitting/lying down, I just hold it open with my left hand and turn the pages with the right. |

That's my usual reading right there, only backwards. I'm more of a right-handed smoosher-downer and a left-handed page turner. (One of which I was reading today...) |
