I honestly think post count has nothing to do with it, it's your actions. I stopped being a noob when Alberto mind-raped me on gabbly, not cause of post count.

Noob is a term used by gamers and people on forums to bully others who aren't as good or as use to it as you are.
you make yourself fell better by being mean to others

so calling someone a noob or any other variation of that is just being mean
and i don't agree with that

newb is a shortened version of Newbie, which means someone new.

if you take offence to that, don't.

(but n00b is harsher, yeah)

Im not exactly sure that im qualified to answer this question, seeing as im sort of new, but I think that it depends on behavior and not post count. I believe this to be true because you could just have one hundred posts of pure (pardon my French) crap. But like I said, im new, so my opinion isnt really that important.
