Don't say what you answered, by the way.

If you say you said yes, it will only make the admins consider you less.

I was thinking the same thing earlier, CP, but I think what the admins don't want you to do is self-promote. Answering truthfully in a poll and just posting "Yeah, I'd like to be a mod" shouldn't lower your chances or anything, to my knowledge.

There you have it, straight from the horse's... er, mod's mouth. Ju Ju, you are now the horse-mod, or hod, new mascot for the HRWF.

I wouldn't mind being one, but I think I wouldn't be very good at it, so I dunno.

That's a definite maybe. *poll option pick*

If I was more active here, then maybe. I'm already a fanstuff sysop, and that's enough for me.

I'm a mod at another forum; it's alright, but it doesn't really add to the experience or anything.

No. This sure was a short post. This reminds me of YTMND for some reason.

I used to be a mod on a forum and it was nice being able to prune, delete and move stuff. You occasionally see something wrong and you're all "Dammit, that's not supposed to be here!" But you can't move it and you don't want to backseat mod.

I've never been an admin before. It would be weird.

No, it's only logical that you become an admin who has part ownership of the servers for this site. Mods post regularly. Admins are around somewhat frequently. Owners are considered mythical, and their appearance on the forums are mere hallucinations. The higher up you go, the less visible you become. So by this logic, one should have 10,000 posts already by the time one joins the forums as a new member.

And Ian: You forgot about the $155 nonrefundable processing fee.

I've been a mod and admin on a couple forums...eh...

In my experience, how desireable the positions are really depend on the forum you're at. Like...if the mods are really important, more people want to be them.

I'm pretty sure everyone, including Didy, knew what was going on was being sarcastic, but didn't know who else was.

Anyway, toastpaint.

Eh. I'm too unpredictable in maturity to be a mod.

I'd love to be a mod. But currently, being of the school-attending persuasion, I might not have enough time. But, then again, some mods are hardly ever on, not to mention a lot of admins.
