| Post subject: | Your favorite Homestar Halloween costume? Part Three |
Here now is the third Homestar Halloween costumes poll, in which you can vote for your favorite Halloween costume of 2002 (AKA Pumpkin Carve-nival). Again, this is actually based on a bonus found only on the Everything Else Vol. 2 DVD, which explained the winner of best 2001 Halloween costume, which was Strong Bad as Carmen Sandiego. Anyway, now it's time for to decide what YOUR favorite Homestar Halloween costume of 2002 is. It's exactly the same as the first set of polls. Here's the link for the 2000 costumes poll: The "Homestarloween Party" costumes poll. And here's the link for the 2001 costumes poll: The "The House That Gave Sucky Treats" costumes poll. You can still post votes in those polls, by the way. Now, with that thought in mind, what is your favorite Halloween costume in Pumpkin Carve-nival? Just like last time, simply pick your favorite in the list above. My vote, BTW, is... to be honest, I don't know who to pick. I kinda decided to vote for the King of Town as Mario. I just love his dialogue here (and I LOVE Mario!), particularly after when he receives worst prize for his pumpkin, which he made into a pie, he laments, "Sorry, king, but our princess is in another castle." Also, I will include both the real Strong Bad's Homestar costume (of which he used as an elaborate prank on the others) and the fake one (AKA the Goblin dressed as Strong Bad as the Bee). So both forms of Strong Bad are included here. Also, as always, feel free to add comments. |

I agree with Strong Bad's last line in that cartoon. |

Sorry, I always get kinda anxious for some opinions here. And sometimes it can lead to impatience. Interestingly, only SB and the KOT have gotten ANY votes at all thus far. Sorry, I just get impatient sometimes. |

Can we get some more votes and even some posts in here, please? Thanks. Also, I wonder if anyone has any other favorite costumes from this year, besides SB as H*R as Angus Young and KOT as Mario. Thanks again. |

I voted for Strong Bad. I think it's hilarious how implausibly perfect his Homestar costume was. |

Say, when the fourth poll thread comes up, on the 2003 costumes, should I include Stinkoman's costume as well as the others'? |

In addition to the above question, I have another (and forgive me if it makes me sound kind of anxious and impatient): can we PLEASE get some more votes up, please, as well as an explanation of why they were chosen? Please?? |

This isn't going to get a lot of attention up here, you know. If anything it should be in Characters (or Fun Polls but I'm not sure that that would be able to be there). Anyways, Kool-Aid Pom Pom. T'was funny. Dunno why. |

Anyways, Kool-Aid Pom Pom. T'was funny. Dunno why. Well, to be honest, there have been other kinds of polls in here. Yes, they are limited to only two or three choices at most, but they're still polls nevertheless. Tell you what, maybe (just maybe, mind you) from now on, from the fourth poll onward, I will put them in the "Characters" page. I'm not sure if people will get confused and not know where to look, though. Which reminds me, you never did answer my question on whether or not, in the fourth poll, Stinkoman's costume should be included as well. Should I or shouldn't I include his costume as part of the 2003 costume poll? |

Okay, Stinkoman's costume will be there, too. And on an unrelated matter, you know what I find interesting? The fact that as of late, from poll to poll, almost every character has gotten at least one vote in ANY of the polls. But there are three exceptions (by that, I mean, characters that have NEVER received a single vote in any poll): Strong Mad, Marzipan and Bubs. The rest of the characters have had at least one vote in ANY or ALL of the polls. |

Sure, you have my permission to relocate all these polls to the Characters page. But don't add Stinkoman this one. He wasn't around yet back then. These are for the 2002 costumes. He didn't exist until 2003. |

All right, fine, then put in the Fun Polls page. However, I don't see too many polls there about Homestar characters, just polls about any old thing in particular. But Homestar polls there are kinda rare. That's why I was also considering the Characters page, because at least there it pertains to specific things. Besides, on the Fun Polls, the H*R Halloween Costume polls would just get lost and buried. What's your response to that, The Noid? |

The majority of Forum users (i.e the ones in off-subject) go in Fun Polls. Doesn't matter, do what you want. |

As for you, ed 'lim' smilde, you have my permission to put all the Halloween costume polls in the Fun Polls page. You can relocate them all to that page. Remember, though, once they're put on the Fun Polls page, please put in some more poll votes, please! I'm serious, I want you to relocate all of my H*R Halloween costume polls to the Fun Polls page, please! I would like to have that done. |

All right, they've been moved. On this one, I also voted for the KoT. It reminds me of that Super Kingio Brothers thing. |

Thanks a million. Looks like the KOT takes the lead again (like he did in the 2000 costume poll). Anyway, now that the polls are in their proper place, could we get some more polls in, especially for Strong Mad, Marzipan and/or Bubs (none of whom had a vote in any of these polls yet; the rest have had at least one from one poll to the next)? |

The Goblin as Strong Bad as The Bee is my choice because: A. The bee costume was already funny B. Doesn't Strong Bad hate that Goblin, yet the Goblin dresses as him? |

As I said before, I'm trying to keep track of the characters' Halloween costumes in each poll that have the most votes. The ones with the most votes are the ones that will be in the final poll, which will determine once and for all what the best Homestar Halloween costume. And based on the polls put out thus far, it looks like the following will be in the final poll (for the time being, anyway): 2000: as Cap'n Crunch
2001: as The Greatest American Hero
2002: as Mario
What are your thoughts? Also, as always, could we get more votes, please, in my absence? I'm going to be gone for the weekend and won't be back 'til Monday. |

just a thought... KOT is gonna win, no matter what (in the big one, that is) first off, think about it. Hamburglar? Mayor of halloweentown? Hagar? come on. everyone loves his costumes. second, nobody knows but a few of the other people's costumes! like, that one tennis player homestar was. who was he? but, when i think about it, some others have (or had) a chance. like the cheat as hawiian punch guy. or marzipan as willie nelson. or pom-pom as kool-aid man. yeah, so just forget it. (i talk a lot) |

(i talk a lot) Well, you never know. Don't forget, Homestar's costume was the highest ranking for 2001. These polls are neverending, which means even still people can still vote in them for good. And the final poll won't happen until around November or December, after the 2007 Halloween costume poll (if that happens). By then, the poll results may be different, especially since the polls never end. So you're right, there is a chance for others to shine. I was just putting in the list up there the standings for right this minute. So for now, we'll just have to play by ear. But the final poll, though, will be locked after a few days to determine the ultimate champ. Oh, and Homestar's tennis player costume was John McEnroe. Anywho, could we get more votes in, please? |

Since it doesn't look like you've seen my pm yet, I'm gonna post this here Please stop bumping the thread and making psots just to get more people to vote. if they want to vote, they will, and if they don't, unfortunately, they won't - bumping isn't going to help. Thanks |
