I just can't help but think: which of the first five Disney films (from Snow White to Bambi) is your favorite? Mine is "Pinocchio".

I love Fantasia because it was so revolutionary and new. It's still awesome to watch almost 70 years later.

Man, tough to decide. All these movies had their great qualities.

Snow White: one of the moodiest Disney films, great shots of animated water, overall amazing and made feature-length animated films possible

Pinnochio: great morality play, awesome sequences include the Blue Fairy, the part when Pinnochio learns to smoke, and the stuff inside Monstro

Fantasia: Generally all around trippy, Night on Bald Mountain demon and Sorceror's Apprentice are lasting images

Dumbo: Actually trippier than Fantasia: PINK ELEPHANTS!, a short movie, but surprisingly effective

Bambi: the death of Bambi's mom didn't traumatize me so much, but I have to say the scenes of the burning forest were pretty amazing

All in all, I went with Pinnochio. It's a movie I'd want to watch again just because its world is filled with nuance. Also, that Monstro scene.

I really liked all of them when I was a kid (except Fantasia, it never looked that good) but I guess I'll go with dumbo just for that ask kicking scene at the end where he's shooting things and stuff.

That's Fantasia 2000, you dolt. We're talking about the original.

Ah, that explains it. I was thinking, "Fantasia can't be that old..."

I hate Snow White, Pinnochio still scares the ever loving poop out of me, Dumbo, I've only seen once, a long time ago, and Bambi just isn't that good.

I chose Fantasia.

I don't remember ever liking any of those. Except maybe Dumbo.

I do remember things like Herby, Gus, and a whole bunch of nature documentaries with that one deep-voiced redneck narrator.

Bambi. I love things like cute little animated fawns.

Not 3D ones. Enough with the 3D talking animal movies already...

I like Fantasia. Not sure why, I guess because I haven't seen it in a while.

I agree. I like Pixar movies, but Disney was great at making 2D movies, and should stick to that.

And it was featured in "Fantasia 2000", not "Fantasia".

I can't really choose here because I don't remember much of these.

Now, stuff like Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and other stuff, I can remember.

Yeah, 'twas a joke.

And Captain, lol, I dunno, don't care that it was on Fantasia 2000, same thing.

Fantasia is about 30 different kinds of brilliance.

I only remember seeing the other ones like once or twice. And I've never seen Dumbo at all.

I grew up watching Fantasia. And Snow white. And I haven't seen any of the others, so I choose Fantasia. Which I have always loved.

Why is Snow White getting the least amount of votes? It started it all, don't forget.

Oh, yeah, I absolutely adored that part where Snow White is dancing with the dwarfs. It's so fluent!

Fantasia. I've only seen it once, and it's still my favorite out of those 5.

Snow White and Bambi were the only ones I've seen, and that was long ago.

In response to the next post: Snow White.

Yeah. This movie is a good way to become acquainted with some culture, like classical music. If you've never been exposed to classical music or some other similar kind of culture before, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.
